Abstract: There is disclosed a hair setting lotion which comprises a predetermined amount of a polymeric compound for setting the hair and a propylene oxide and ethylene oxide adduct of a higher alcohol. The adduct is contained in an amount of 0.05-1.0 time the polymeric compound on the weight basis. In order to further improve the hair setting effect, squalane can be added in an amount of 0.05-2.0 times the polymeric compound on the weight basis.

Abstract: A hair growth promoting composition comprising a solution of a blood flow increasing agent and/or a hair matrix cell activator in admixture with carbon dioxide gas.
