    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent composition suitable for concentration, having excellent color tone stability during preservation, comprising a surfactant, an inorganic ion exchanger having large ion exchange capacity composed of a crystalline silicate, a fluorescent brightener and a water solubility-resistant inorganic ion exchanger. CONSTITUTION:(A) A surfactant such as anionic surfactant, nonionic surfactant, cationic surfactant or amphoteric surfactant (e.g. sodium alkylbenzenesulfonate) is blended with (B) an inorganic ion exchanger which is a crystalline silicate with a composition of the formula (M is H or element of group Ia of the periodic table; Me is an element of group IIa, IIb, IIIa, IVa or VIII of the periodic table; y/x=0.5-2.0; z/x=0.01-1.0; n/m=0.5-2.0) and has at least 100mg CaCO3/g or more ion exchange capacity and/or its hydrate and (C) 0.02-3wt.% fluorescent brightener [e.g. 4,4'-bis(2-sulfostyryl)biphenyl sodium salt] to give the objective detergent composition having excellent color tone stability, suitable for concentration.
