Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method in which an access and mobility management function (AMF) node processes a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment procedure. The method may include a step of determining whether to reject a PDU session establishment request or not. Here, the determining step may be performed when the PDU session establishment request includes an identifier of an existing PDU session. On the basis of the identifier of the existing PDU session, an identifier of a session management function (SMF) node may be obtained. If it is determined that the SMF node and the AMF node both belong to the same public land mobile network (PLMN) on the basis of the identifier of the SMF node, the PDU session establishment request can be accepted. If it is determined that the SMF node and the AMF node both belong to a home PLMN (HPLMN) on the basis of the identifier of the SMF node, the PDU session establishment request can be accepted Métodos; Nodo AMF.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of controlling a session in a serving server taking charge of the control plane within a mobile communication network. The control method may include receiving, by the serving server, a tracking area update (TAU) request message of a terminal from a target base station; retrieving, by the serving server, a previous server that has taken charge of the control plane for the terminal; receiving, by the serving server and from the retrieved previous server, a context response message comprising information indicating that a session for the terminal had been established to be passed through a path over the nodes within a fixed network different from a mobile communication network; deciding, by the serving server, whether gateway relocation is needed; releasing, by the serving server, the established session; transmitting, by the serving server, an accept message comprising information for the processing result to the terminal through the target base station; and establishing, by the serving server a session passing through a path over the nodes within a fixed network different from a mobile communication network based on the information.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method an apparatus for performing or supporting machine-type communications (MTC). A method for a terminal to establish a connection to a server according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a triggering message including a triggering identifier from a network; and a step of requesting a data connection to the server using the triggering information contained in the triggering message. The triggering identifier can be set to a predetermined value for distinguishing the triggering message from other types of messages.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for enabling a server for a control plane to control a service in a mobile communication network. The control method can include a step of receiving a first message including an access point name (APN), a parameter for indicating an identifier of a local gateway and/or a selected IP traffic offload (SIPTO) service indicator from a Home (e)NodeB. The first message can include a request message of a terminal. The control method can include a step of determining whether the SIPTO can be applied to data of the terminal based on the APN within the first message if the Home (e)NodeB can provide the SIPTO service on the basis of the received first message. The step for determining is for determining whether the SIPTO can be applied to the APN included in the first message on the basis of the information related to the APN. The control method includes a further step of determining whether the SIPTO service can be provided for the terminal on the basis of user agreement information for a SIPTO service if the SIPTO can be applied to the data of the terminal; and a step of transmitting a SIPTO service notification to the Home (e)NodeB according to the further determination.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling traffic congestion of MTC devices in a mobile communication system which provides a machine type communication (MTC) service. The method of the present invention is configured in that a core network node (for example, MME, MSC, SGSN, etc.) performs scheduling and rescheduling procedures on data communication traffic for user equipment (that is, MTC devices) using subscription information and congestion control information of the user equipment; and generates a resultant "recalculated time interval" parameter and transmits the parameter to the user equipment, thereby efficiently distributing the amount of data communication (that is, traffic) concentrated to a specific time slot, and thus controlling traffic congestion or network overload.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method and apparatus for performing or supporting inter-UE transfer (IUT). The method for performing relevant IUT operations by first user equipment and second user equipment according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of receiving a message including an IUT request from the first UE; a step of transmitting information associated with the IUT request to a remote party; and a step of performing the IUT operation if the IUT request is granted by the remote party.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for a user equipment for supporting a multitude of radio access technologies. The method can comprise a step of receiving information on an inter-system routing policy from a server. The information includes a filter rule information, wherein the the filter rule information can further comprise at least one of a domain information and a content type information, and a list which is organized according to the priority of access technologies or access networks which are supported by the user equipment. The method can further comprise a step of transmitting a data traffic to be transmitted, by using at least one access technology or a network that is decided according to the filter rule information, wherein the object of the data traffic, which is transmitted through the one access technology or the network, can be data which is transmitted to an access point name (APN) which is defined by the routing policy.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for controlling an access in a server in charge of a control plane in a visited network. The method for controlling the access comprises the step of the server in charge receiving from a Home (e)NodeB an access request message or an update request message by a roaming terminal. The Home (e)NodeB can be operated as a closed subscriber group (CSG) or in a mixed access mode. The access control method further comprises the steps of: assessing whether a disagreement exists between the CSG related information in subscriber information of the roaming terminal obtained from a subscriber information server located in the home network of the roaming terminal, and the local CSG related information defined in the visited network; when a disagreement is found, controlling the access using priority information previously defined by the server in charge; and the server in charge transmitting to Home (e)NodeB an acceptance message or a denial message for the access of the update request message, according to the access control.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling an overload of a network, which may be generated due to a service request of a terminal in a mobile communication system of machine type communication (MTC). The invention controls a network overload and efficiently uses network resources, by requesting activation of a particular MTC function to the network on the basis of information on changes in unnecessary MTC functions, without allowing a terminal to request (for example, attach request) the unnecessary MTC functions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile communication system, and more particularly relates to a method for transmitting a small-sized control signal (also known as "small data") using a control plane in a MTC (machine-type communication) service in a mobile communication system. In the present invention, MTC data is encapsulated in an existing control procedure or control message or the like, on a control signal, without performing packet data bearer setting, and the control signal having the encapsulated MTC data is sent between a network and a terminal, thereby optimising network resource efficiency and reducing the wireless channel load.
