Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and, more specifically, to a method and device for handover of a packet switched (PS) service. A method for supporting handover of a PS service in a network according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises steps of: acquiring information for identifying a PS service handed over from a first access network to a second access network; and transmitting, to a user equipment, information for directing handover to the second access network for the identified PS service, wherein the information for the identified PS service can be maintained in a network node of the network until handover to the second access network has been completed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method and apparatus for performing or supporting machine-type communications (MTC). A method for a terminal to establish a connection to a server according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a triggering message including a triggering identifier from a network; and a step of requesting a data connection to the server using the triggering information contained in the triggering message. The triggering identifier can be set to a predetermined value for distinguishing the triggering message from other types of messages.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for enabling a server for a control plane to control a service in a mobile communication network. The control method can include a step of receiving a first message including an access point name (APN), a parameter for indicating an identifier of a local gateway and/or a selected IP traffic offload (SIPTO) service indicator from a Home (e)Node B. the first message can include a request message of a terminal. The control method can include a step of determining whether the SIPTO can be applied to data of the terminal based on the APN within the first message if the Home (e)Node B can provide the SIPTO service on the basis of the received first message. The step for determining is for determining whether the SIPTO can be applied to the APN included in the first message on the basis of the information related to the APN. The control method includes a further step of determining whether the SIPTO service can be provided for the terminal on the basis of user agreement information for a SIPTO service if the SIPTO can be applied to the data of the terminal; and a step of transmitting a SIPTO service notification to the Home (e)Node B according to the further decision.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for changing a radio access technology (RAT) of a terminal in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: transmitting user traffic session related information when a terminal perceives that a packet switched service will be discontinued while carrying out proximity service (ProSe); and changing, by a first terminal, to a target RAT, in which PS service is not supported.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system is disclosed. More particularly, a control method and device based on multiple priorities in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method for controlling a back-off timer in a terminal configured with multiple non-access stratum, NAS, signaling priorities, comprises checking if a back-off timer runs due to a rejection of a first request message having a first NAS signaling priority level; and transmitting a second request message without a NAS signaling priority level to a network, when the back-off timer runs due to the rejection, wherein the transmission of the second request message is performed without stopping the back-off timer.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for transferring downlink data by a serving gateway (S-GW). The method may comprise the steps of: transmitting a downlink data notification (DDN) message to a mobility management entity (MME) and a serving general packet radio service (GPRS) supporting node (SGSN), when downlink data arrives at a wireless device in a state where an idle mode signaling reduction (ISR) is activated; receiving a message notifying of a DDN refusal from any one of the MME and SGSN when the wireless device, being in a power saving mode (PSM), cannot receive the downlink data; and transmitting a paging stop request message to any one of the MME and SGSN when the message indicating the refusal of the DDN is received.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and, more specifically, to a method and an apparatus for controlling wireless access congestion. A method by which a target cell supports a handover in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a step for receiving, from a source cell by the target cell, congestion control information for a terminal handed over from the source cell to the target cell; and a step for congestion controlling, by the target cell, the terminal on the basis of the congestion control information. The congestion control information includes whether a drop in service priority for the terminal occurs in the source cell.
