    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel with high reliability by restraining deterioration of characteristics of a phosphor through removal of impure gas in the plasma display panel. SOLUTION: A front panel 2 having a plurality of scanning electrodes 6 and retaining electrodes 7 arranged in parallelwith each other, and a back panel 3 having data electrodes 12 arranged in parallel with each other, a separation wall 4, and an exhaust port 15, are arranged in opposition so that the scanning electrodes 6 and the retaining electrodes 7 of the front panel 2 cross the data electrodes of the back panel.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel in which a baking temperature at the time of the exhaust gas baking can be raised without making leakage in a sealed section.
    SOLUTION: The plasma display panel is constituted so that a softening-point temperature of a material which constitutes a second sealing component 17 may become higher than the softening-point temperature of the material which constitutes a first sealing component 14 at a peripheral portion of the PDP. Thereby, the plasma display panel, in which the baking temperature during the exhaust gas baking can be raised without making leakage in the sealed section, can be realized.
