    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system capable of distributing the respective kinds of information with high instantanity to a portable information terminal by a highly reliable transmission means at a high speed and at a low cost. SOLUTION: An information distribution center 1 inputs and digitizes the respective kinds of distribution information and data and sends them out by prescribed radio waves. An information distribution post 2 receives the radio waves sent out from the information distribution center 1, demodulates the radio waves, stores them as digital data and sends out prescribed distribution information to the information terminal 3 carried by a user based on the request of the user. The information terminal 3 receives and stores the prescribed distribution information outputted from the information distribution post 2 and appropriately reproduces them based on the demand of the user.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply and air conditioner system which provides energy conservation and improves the comfortableness. SOLUTION: The hot water supply and air conditioner system couples a heat pump 1 having an operating frequency variable type compressor 1, a hot water supply side water heat exchanger 2, an air conditioning water heat exchanger 3 and an air heat exchanger 4 via a first tube 1c, and heat exchanges by heating medium flowing through the tube 1c. Further, the system couples the exchanger 2 and a hot water storage tank 5 via a second tube, couples the exchanger 3, a cooling or heating cold heat storage tank 6 and an air conditioner 7 via a third tube 19, stores the hot water by the water flowing through the second tube, air conditions by the water flowing through the tube 19 or antifreeze solution, and controls the operations of the units by a controller 9. In this case, a plurality of temperature sensors 51 to 53, 61 to 63 are provided along the direction of remarkable thermal distribution of the tank 5 or 6, the controller judges the storage hot water level or cold heat storage level by the sensors, and controls the frequency of the compressor in response to it.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit efficient utilization of midnight power while keeping silent property by a method wherein hot-water reservation or cold heat storage is effected utilizing midnight power while the operating frequency of a compressor is changed in accordance with the utilizing time of the midnight power. SOLUTION: When hot-water reservation or cold heat storage is effected utilizing midnight power, the operating frequency of a compressor 1a is controlled so as to be changed by a CPU 9 in accordance with the starting time of hot-water reserving operation or cold heat storage operation. In this case, when the starting time of hot-water reserving operation or cold heat storage operation utilizing midnight power is early and the utilizing time of midnight power (time to the morning) is long, the operating frequency of the compressor 1a is set low to operate with a reduced capacity and when the utilizing time of midnight power is short, the operating frequency of the compressor 1a is set high to operate with a raised capacity. According to this method, the speed of hot-water reservation or cold heat storage can be controlled in accordance with the utilizing time of midnight power whereby hot-water supplying and air-conditioning system can be operated efficiently while keeping silent property.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the influence of external noise by integrating a photodetector and a smoke sensing circuit into one integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION:Light projected from a projecting element 3 is dispersed by smoke and the direction of the light is changed by a prism part 8a of a photodetection lens 8. Afterwards, the light is condensed onto a integrated circuit 7 by the lens part 8a. In the integrated circuit 7, in addition to the photodetector which is a photodiode, a smoke detecting circuit to detect the existence of the smoke based on the output of the photodetector, projecting element driving circuit and power supply circuit are integrated. In a circuit board 5, the other circuit parts are loaded in addition to the integrated circuit 7 and the projecting element 3. An optical pedestal 2 holds the projecting element 3 and the photodetection lens 8 and is coupled to the circuit board 5.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately detect only a weak output signal caused by scattered light due to smoke by inserting an inverting amplifier in the preceding stage of a comparing circuit and connecting a switch circuit, which is turned on and off before generation of a light emitting signal, and a capacitor in parallel between the inverted input and the output of this amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A switch circuit Q consists of a bidirectional switch element and is switched by a gate signal phi. The signal phi is generated before the light emitting signal to be given to a light emitting element, and the circuit Q is turned on when the signal phi goes to the high level, and the output terminal of an inverting amplifier A3 is set to a reference voltage. Therefore, though a DC error voltage is generated in the output signal of a light receiving amplifier 20 at the time of light emission of the light emitting element after the signal phi rises to turn on the circuit Q, the error signal is removed and the output is outputted. Consequently, only the weak output signal caused by scattered light due to smoke is accurately detected.
