Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium in which a movie work can be made satisfactory without increasing the number of streams and playback paths. SOLUTION: An AVClip and a dynamic scenario are recorded on a BD-ROM as a recording medium. The dynamic scenario is a command string showing a playback control procedure relating to video data, and has attribute information attached thereto. The attribute information shows a control procedure for when a user requests a menu call during playback of the AVClip and includes a title_search_mask flag indicating whether to mask a title search request made by a user during the playback by the dynamic scenario. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a terminal apparatus existing in the same house to perform an operation matching to the operation status of one terminal apparatus based on the operation status of one terminal apparatus.SOLUTION: Plural terminal apparatuses existing in a house are uniquely managed as one terminal apparatus group and an instruction to be transmitted to other terminal apparatus is determined based on the operation status of one terminal apparatus. By using a piece of connection origin information for identifying each terminal apparatus on the network and acquisition time thereof, another terminal apparatus included in the same terminal apparatus group is identified and the instruction is transmitted to the identified another terminal apparatus. The other terminal apparatus performs the operation based on the received instruction to thereby perform the operation based on the operation status of one terminal apparatus.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk in which a three-dimensional video signal and a high resolution video signal are recorded and a system for reproducing the signals recorded in the optical disk, which are compatible with a conventional system for reproducing an ordinary resolution image. SOLUTION: A first video signal and a second video signal are respectively divided into frame groups of one GOP or more and alternately recorded in right and left interleave blocks on an optical disk 1. A three-dimensional/high resolution compatible reproducing apparatus reproduces both of first and second interleave blocks to obtain a three-dimensional image or a high resolution image. A three-dimensional/high resolution non-compatible reproducing apparatus reproduces only either one of the first and second interleave blocks by jumping tracks to obtain an ordinary resolution image. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk having a stereoscopic video signal and a high quality video signal recorded therein, and a system which can reproduce the optical disk, wherein a compatibility with a prior art system for reproducing an ordinary video can be achieved. SOLUTION: For a reproducer compatible with stereoscopic and high-quality video signals, a stereoscopic or high-quality video is obtained by dividing each of first and second video signals into a group of frames more than 1 GOP, and reproducing both of first and second interleave blocks recorded on an optical disk 1 alternately at its right and left sides. For a reproducer not incompatible with stereoscopic and high-quality video signals, an ordinary video is obtained by track jumping and reproducing only one of the first and second interleave blocks. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve compatibility with a conventional system for reproducing an ordinary video, in an optical disk having three-dimensional video and high-image-quality video signals recorded therein, and a system for reproducing them.SOLUTION: By using interleaved blocks obtained by dividing a first video signal and a second video signal into frame groups of 1 GOP or more to be recorded alternately on the right and left sides on an optical disk 1, a three-dimension/high-image-quality responsive reproduction apparatus reproduces both the first and second interleaved blocks, so that a three-dimensional video or high-image-quality video is obtained; and a three-dimension/high-image-quality non-responsive reproduction apparatus reproduces only either the first or second interleaved block by jumping tracks, so that an ordinary video is obtained.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve compatibility with a conventional system for reproducing normal images in an optical disk in which three-dimensional images and high quality video signals are recorded and a system for reproducing the images and the video signals from the optical disk. SOLUTION: A stereoscopic/high quality correspondence type reproducing device obtains three-dimensional images or high quality images by reproducing both of first and second interleaved blocks which are obtained by respectively dividing first and second video signals into frame groups of one GOP or more and alternately recording the divided frame groups on the right and left sides of the optical disk 1. In a stereoscopic/high quality non-correspondence type reproducing device, only either one of the first and second interleaved blocks is track-jumped and reproduced to obtain normal images. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk with signals of three-dimensional video and high resolution image recorded thereon and a system for reproducing data on the optical disk, which are compatible with a conventional system for reproducing an ordinary resolution image. SOLUTION: A first image signal and a second image signal are divided into groups of frames of one GOP or more. As for interleave blocks laterally alternately recorded on an optical disk 1, a three-dimensional/high resolution image-compatible reproducing apparatus reproduces both first and second interleave blocks, thus providing a three-dimensional image or a high resolution image and a three-dimensional/high resolution image-non-compatible reproducing apparatus reproduces only one of the first and second interleave blocks by jumping tracks, thus providing an ordinary resolution image.
