    Abstract: A method of synchronization adjustment is applied to an optical detecting device, so as to synchronize an exposure timing sequence of an image detector with a light emitting timing sequence of an indicating light source. The method includes acquiring a continued image set, analyzing intensity of each image of the continued image set, and adjusting the exposure timing sequence according to duty cycle of the image detector and intensity ratio of at least two images. An exposure frequency of the image detector is greater than a flickering frequency of the indicating light source.

    Abstract: There is provided a smart home control system including a host, at least one sensor, a plurality of controlled devices and an informing device. The host identifies entering and leaving of family members according to detection results of the at least one sensor, and controls on/off of the controlled devices or informs a specific family member by the informing device to execute agenda according to a member ID of a family member who is identified to enter or leave the house. When identifying that one agendum is unable or forgotten to be executed by the specific family member, the host further rearranges the agendum.

    Abstract: There is provided an encoding and decoding method and an information recognition device using the same. A code block includes a center coding region and a peripheral coding region arranged around the center coding region. The encoding and decoding method uses the feature of at least one microdot included in the center coding region as codes. The encoding and decoding method uses the feature of at least one microdot included in the peripheral coding region as codes. The encoding and decoding method uses the relative feature between the center coding region and the peripheral coding region as codes. The information recognition device compares the read feature with pre-stored features to decode information such as position codes, object codes, parameter codes and control codes.

    Abstract: A joystick includes a casing, a stick body and an optical sensor. The casing has a hole. The stick body is movably disposed on the casing via the hole. The stick body includes a pressing portion, an indication portion and an identification pattern. The indication portion is connected to the pressing portion and inserts into the hole. A sunken structure is formed on a bottom of the indication portion. The identification pattern is disposed on an inner surface of the sunken structure. The optical sensor is disposed inside the casing and faces the sunken structure, and adapted to analyze a movement of the identification pattern to identify a control status of the stick body.
