    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify time and frequency resources for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE) in a first transmission time interval (TTI). The base station may transmit configuration information for a control channel search space set in a second TTI. The second TTI may precede the first TTI. The configuration information may include an indication of an absence of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission to send in the control channel search space set indicating the identified time and frequency resources for the PDSCH, and a set of time and frequency resources for the control channel search space set. The UE may receive the configuration information and identify the time and frequency resources allocated for the PDSCH in the second TTI, and receive the PDSCH transmission in the second TTI.

A UE receives an indication of a set of CORESETs selected from a plurality of CORESETs or a set of QCL relationships selected from a plurality of QCL relationships. The UE determines the set of CORESETs from the plurality of CORESETs or the set of QCL relationships from the plurality of QCL relationships based on the indication received. A UE receives an indication of a set of UL resources or a set of spatial relations. The UE determines the set of UL resources or the set of spatial relations based on the indication received.

A wireless device may receive downlink control information corresponding to a transmission of a transport block over a plurality of transmission time intervals (TTIs). The wireless device may identify a redundancy version sequence for the transport block. The redundancy version may be a pre-defined sequence or may be configured by higher layer signaling based on sequence criterion. The wireless device may transmit or receive a plurality of redundancy versions of the transport block in the plurality of TTIs based at least in part on the redundancy version sequence. In some examples, the plurality of redundancy versions may be determined based at least in part on a starting redundancy version identified by another wireless device.

In various embodiments, a wireless device processor may receive a first signature from a base station. The wireless device processor may determine a second signature based on the first signature. The wireless device processor may perform a matching operation to determine whether its second signature matches the second signature used to modify the base station communication. The wireless device processor may enable communications with the base station in response to determining that the second signature determined by its processor matches the second signature used to modify the communication.
