Abstract:
Systems, apparatuses, and/or methods for resolving ambiguities associated with signals received from space vehicles (SVs) in a satellite navigation system. For example, certain methods include receiving a first SV signal from a first satellite positioning system (SPS), and reducing a bit edge ambiguity of a data signal modulating a second SV signal received from a second SPS based, at least in part, on information in the received first SV signal.
Abstract:
The subject matter disclosed herein relates to a system and method for re solving ambiguities associated with signals received from space vehicles (SV s) in a satellite navigation system.
Abstract:
A mobile Communications device uses a method for determining position that involves a positioning filter, such as a Kalman filter, which is initialized with measurements from reference stations such as satellite vehicles and/or base stations which may be acquired during different epochs. Accordingly, the positioning filter may be used for position estimation without the need to first acquire at least three different signals during the same measurement epoch.
Abstract:
The subject matter disclosed herein relates to a system and method for acquiring signal received from space vehicles (SVs) in a satellite navigation system. In one example information processed in acquiring a signal from a first SV may be used in acquiring a signal from a second SV.
Abstract:
The subject matter disclosed herein relates to a system and method for obtaining time references for signals received from transmitters in a satellite and/or terrestrial navigation system. A first time reference associated with a first signal received at a receiver from a first transmitter is obtained. A second time reference associated with a second signal from a second transmitter is obtained based on the first time reference and on an estimated difference between a first range to the first transmitter from the receiver and a second range to the second transmitter from the receiver.
