    Abstract: The described techniques provide for efficiently contending for access to a shared radio frequency spectrum for communicating on multiple allocated sub-bands across multiple carriers. As described herein, a user equipment (UE) may first identify allocated sub-bands across multiple carriers in a shared radio frequency spectrum. The UE may then select a carrier and at least one of the multiple allocated sub-bands within the carrier on which to perform a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure of a first type, and the UE may perform the LBT procedure of the first type on the at least one sub-band. In addition, the UE may also perform LBT procedures of a second type on allocated sub-bands within carriers different from the selected carrier. Based on the results of the LBT procedures, the UE may communicate with the base station on the allocated sub-bands across the multiple carriers in the shared radio frequency spectrum.

A first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a first uplink (UL) scheduling grant. The first wireless communication device communicates, with second wireless communication device, a first UL communication signal based on the first UL scheduling grant during a first COT, the first COT based on an extended clear channel assessment (eCCA) associated with the first UL communication signal. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, a downlink (DL) communication signal during the first COT based on COT sharing information associated with the first COT.

The techniques also provide for transmitting an SRS across multiple OFDM symbols using same frequency resources, and an orthogonal cover code (OCC) may be applied to the SRS transmission of each OFDM symbol, which may allow multiple UEs to transmit concurrent SRS using a common LBT gap.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for a user equipment (UE), operating in a shared spectrum in a connected state or an idle state, to receive a channel occupancy time structure information (COT-SI) which includes one or more of a COT duration, a COT end symbol, and a COT pause indication, in addition to slot format indication for one or more slots. Some aspects described herein define a hierarchical approach to COT structure information (COT-SI) signaling. For example, a UE may be configured with a set of short COT tables using remaining minimum system information (RMSI) signaling and may receive concatenation of COT-SI signaling identifying index values in a control channel corresponding to one or more of the set of COT tables. Based on receiving COT-SI signaling, the UE may communicate in accordance with an occurrence of a COT.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a network may schedule a user equipment (UE) for multiple transmission/reception point (TRP) communication. The network may transmit a single downlink control information (DCI) message to the UE to dynamically configure multiple transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for the multiple TRPs. In a first example, the DCI message may include a bit field indicating a set of antenna ports and the multi-TRP scheme for transmission. In a second example, the DCI message may include a separate field indicating the multi-TRP scheme (e.g., based on UE capabilities). In a third example, the DCI may indicate redundancy versions (RVs) for different TRPs in an RV field or across multiple fields. In a fourth example, the DCI may include an indication of a precoding resource block group (PRG) size that may be interpreted differently based on the indicated multi-TRP scheme.
