Abstract: PURPOSE:To speed up processing by dividing data to be processed by the prescribed data amount and executing the processing in parallel in synchronizing with a bus clock at every divided data. CONSTITUTION:When such an instruction is issued that plural subsystems share data processing, each subsystem executes given work with the use of processors P0-P7 jointed to a system bus 1. On the other hand, a shared memory device 2 is constituted of plural memory banks MB0-MB7 divided by the prescribed data amount. Assuming that the processors P0-P7 of each subsystem specify any one of the memory banks MB0-MB7 to transmit a memory request for demanding the exchange of data through the system bus 1, an enable signal for permitting the occupation of the specified memory bank is transmitted from a mediating device part 16 in synchronizing with the bus clock of the system bus 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time by dividing data to be processed into segment data of prescribed data amount based on a memory request from each processor. CONSTITUTION:Data to be processed is divided into seven segments, for instance, and plural processors execute the processing of the segment data sequentially in parallel as segment data execution and processing times TU1-TU10. For instance, the processor P0 reads out data of one sector (or one track) as the 1st segment data to be processed in a data processing step PR1 from a file accumulating device 5, and transfers it to a shared memory device 2 during the processing step PR11 of the processing and executing time TU1. As shown in figure B, the 1st segment data is processed as the 1st processed data of the data processing step PR2 in the processing step PR21 during the next processing and executing time TU2.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To freely change a display area or length of a cursor, by changing the pulse width synchronized with the scanning through the change in a time constant of a multivibrator. CONSTITUTION:When a joy-stick 31 is operated, a count value Nx of a counter 33x is changed through the operation toward the X axis, a longitudinal line of the cursor on a display 26 moves toward the X axis, a counte value NY of a counter 33Y is changed with the operation toward the Y axis and a lateral line of the cursor moves toward the Y axis. The count values NX and NY of the counters 33X and 33Y are applied to a CPU11 and the position of the cursor is read in the CPU11. The display area or length of the cursor can arbitrarily be changed by changing the width of pulses Pnx, Pmx, Pny and Pmy synchronized with the scanning through the change in the time constant of multivibrators 37x, 38x, 37y and 38y.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress tape damage to a minimum and to simplify corrections of errors, by making it possible to retrieve an address without using a head by finding the tape winding frequency of a reel from an address signal in VTR. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic tape 3 on which address signal SA corresponding to length from the beginning of the tape has been recorded is run between supply reel 2 and take-up reel 9 and on the basis of the address of the run start position of tape 3a, the winding frequency of either reel is found. Then, the winding frequency of the tape to be wound around the other reel is found on the basis of an assigned address. Further, the difference between both the winding frequencies is obtained. Next, when tape 3a is run and one reel turns as many times as the different winding frequency, the run of tape 3a is stopped.
