Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ribbon cartridge in which sorting work for reusing resource can be facilitated. SOLUTION: An ink ribbon is wound between first and second spools 2, 3 arranged in parallel and fixed rotatably to a case body 20 made of a synthetic resin maternal. A spring 30 made of a metallic material and urging each spool 2, 3 in the axial direction comprises a press piece part 30a abutting against the spool 2, 3, and a fixing piece part 30b being inserted into a spring fixing gap 50 formed in the case body 20 and held in place wherein the fixing piece part 30b has a piece 34 for stopping it resiliently in the spring fixing gap 50 of the case body 20. In such an ink ribbon cartridge, the stopping piece 34 has a curved part and the curved face 34a thereof abuts against the case body 20 to separate the end part 34b of the stopping piece 34 from the case body 20.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve incorporation workability by forming a bearing part in a nearly semicylindrical shape opened at the upper side, and forming an elastic member of a leaf spring that can be incorporated from above a lower shell. SOLUTION: A feed spool 30 and a wind spool 40 are stored in a manner to be rotatable inside a cartridge main body 2 constituted of an assembly of a lower shell 10 and an upper shell 20. An ink ribbon 50 is wound to each spool 30, 40. A small-diameter axial part at one leading end 36, 46 is inserted to a bearing part 18a, 18b of the lower shell 10 to be supported rotatably. A metallic leaf spring 61, 61 as an elastic member is inserted to the bearing part 18a, 18b, so that each spool 30, 40 is pressed in an axial direction by an elastic bias force of the leaf spring and prevented from rotating idle. A slack of the ink ribbon 50 is accordingly prohibited. Since the leaf springs 61, 61 and spools 30, 40 can be incorporated with the lower shell 10 from above, workability is considerably good.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time period of an assembling process and to improve workability of assembling, by a constitution wherein a lower shell and an upper shell are integrated with each other and a bend section is formed on a portion where a plate spring abuts against a spool. SOLUTION: A plate spring 61 is attached to a bearing section 18b such that it is thrown thereinto from an upper portion of a lower shell 10 along an inner face side of a rear side section 12 thereof. At the assembling of a spool 40, a small diameter shaft section 46 of the spool 40 is inserted into a hole section of the plate spring 61 from the upper portion. A tip side of the plate spring 61 is elastically deformed to be bent in a condition that a step face between an intermediate diameter shaft section 45 and the small diameter shaft section 46 is stopped to the hole section. As a result, an elastic force for preventing idling rotation is applied to the spool 40. An upper shell is integrated with the lower shell 10 wherein the plate spring 61 and each spool 40 are attached so as to cover it, thereby completing the assembling of a print medium cartridge 1.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a required spring action to be demonstrated when recycling a cassette enclosure by constituting a spool push spring mechanism for urging a spool shaft to a drive side shaft part of a spool push spring member formed integrally with the cassette enclosure and a stopper part with which the spool push spring member comes into contact. SOLUTION: An ink ribbon unit 1 stored in a cassette enclosure 4 consisting of a lower half 2 and an upper half 3 is equipped with a ribbon supply spool shaft 6 around with an unused ink ribbon 5 is wound and a ribbon take-up spool shaft 7 which take up a used ink ribbon. In addition, plate-like spool push springs 33, 34 are installed upright in spring holders 32, 32 behind a driven side bearing plate 30 mounted on the cassette enclosure 4. These spool push springs 33, 34 act to urge the shaft ends of the driven side shaft parts 10, 11 of each of the spool shafts 6, 7 in the shaft direction. Further, each of the spool push springs 33, 34 leans against spring stopper parts 35, 36 when the spool push springs 33, 34 are elastically deformed, so that an excess elastic deformation is controlled.

In addition, a buffer material 12 is formed in both upper and lower cases 3a, 3b, and the spool shaft 1 for supplying a ribbon around which the unused ink ribbon 2 is wound is stored in the spool shaft 3 for taking up the used ink ribbon.

The means discriminating the adaptibility of both of them are the groove parts 22 provided to the shafts 2b, 3b of the spools 2, 3 along the peripheral direction of both shafts and, on the side of at least one bearing part 8, the discrimination means is the recessed part 20a corresponding to the groove part 22. As a result, a cartridge on which only a proper ribbon can be always mounted in a proper state is constituted and, therefore, even when this cartridge is mounted on the corresponding printer at the time of use, any trouble is not generated.
