Also, the battery life time display region BLT is formed by the display segments Seg1-Seg7, and segments are arranged in such an order as placing the segment corresponding to higher voltage more right side, and the length of each segment is made to be different in accordance with the period of time required until the voltage of this segment drops down to the value corresponding to that of next segment. According to those mode switching signals, switching control signal N/x3, and the output of a frequency generator 7a, the circuit 11 controls a capstan motor driving voltage until the tape speed has an adequate value.

The contact part A is so set as to face to a fixed contact part 9 in which a resistor pattern is formed and a fitting tool 10 is penetrated in a terminal part 8 of the spring 4 to position and fix the metal plate. Consequently, the switch 1 moves like a seesaw right and left on the terminal part 8 as a center wherein the terminal part 8 is positioned in the center of the switch 1 and when released, the switch is stopped at the time the weight center comes to the terminal part 8 owing to the resilient force of the spring 4.
