    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make time setting operation of a timer easy by providing a timer hour-, and a minute setting switches on the different concentrical circles in the positions corresponding to the number channels indicating the hour on a circumference. CONSTITUTION:When a mode switch Sw is changed-over to timer display side, the output of a timer circuit 3 is taken into a display circuit 7, and according to the operations of switches Sa, Sp for A.M. and P.M., the A.M. or P.M. is displayed in a display means DP. Thence, if the hour switches S1-S12 disposed on the concentrical circle in the positions opposing to the channels of the numbers 1, 2,... indicating the hour on the circumference, the set hours are stored in the circuit 3 and are displayed in the means DP. In a similar manner, the timer minute is set by the minute switches S00-S45 of a concentrical circle shape differing from that of the switches S1-S12 and a minute unit set switch S01, and after the setting, the timer set time is changed according to the reoperation of the switches S11..., S00..., S01, thus the setting of the timer time is accomplished by the simple and easy operations of the switches.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to select a channel by setting easily the dividing ratio of the programmable divider of a PLL frequency synthesizer, by providing a frequency counter counting a reception frequency and a display unit diaplaying the reception frequency by the output of the counter. CONSTITUTION:The PLL frequency synthesizer 20 is equipped with reference frequency signal generating method 22, programmable divider 10, phase comparator 13, and method 94 feeding the output of comparator 13 back to the 2nd oscillation frequency variable element of local oscillator 8. In addition, frequency counters 40 to 42, and 44 to 46 are also provided which receive selectively the output of the 2nd frequency converting mixer 16 and that of fine-adjusting oscillator 25. Then, the output signal of mixer 16 is supplied to upper parts 44 to 46 of counters at the 1st channel selection time through the operation of the 1st oscillation frequency variable element of oscillator 8 in order to determine the dividing ratio of divider depending upon upper digits of the reception frequency, and also to supply outputs of upper parts 44 to 46, to display unit 55, thereby displaying upper digits of the reception frequency.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to know the time without observing the letter dial by generating the time broadcasting sound of the number at that correct time. CONSTITUTION:Signals from an oscillator 1 are subjected to frequency division at 2 to produce second signals, which are fed to second, minute and hour counters 3, 4 and 5. The outputs of the respective counters are decoded at 6 and displayed at 7. When the correct time is detected at 11, n is preset in a counter 12, and the second pulses are fed to the counter 12 and AND circuits 14 and 15. Then, alternate signals of 512 Hx are interruptedly generated from the circuit 14, and alternate signals of 1024 Hz are generated from the circuit 2 through the circuit 15 in a similar manner. The signals thus generated are fed to a speaker 18 through an OR circuit 16 so that the time broadcasting sounds at that time are generated.

In the case of the presence of a specific key entry, the microcomputer 8 of the telephone set 1A sends a data stored in a RAM 9 to a terminal 10 of the telephone set 1B via the interfaces 11A, 11B. On the other hand, the telephone set 1B writes the data sent via the interface 11B to the RAM 9.

Thus, the accumulated speech charge is requested accurately together with its fare.

On the other hand, the means 30 supplies the tone burst to the circuit 84 via an output port 32 and an adder circuit 87.
