Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve workability by fixing a spirally wound extensible border member to a border section between the edge section of a floor base and the wall face of a building by a fixing means and placing a floor panel for the border onto the border member. CONSTITUTION:A floor base 1 is laid onto a foundation floor face A with the exception of a border section. A spirally wound extensible border member 41 is cut in proper length. The border member 41 is arranged to the border section on the foundation floor face A, and both sides are held by keep plates 42 while the keep plates 42 are fastened to a wall, a floor, etc. A floor panel 5 for the border is placed onto the border member 41, and a floor carpet for the border is laid onto the panel 5 and the border 4 is installed.
