Bei einem Verfahren zur Überwachung, Steuerung und/oder Regelung einer Zentrifuge (13) bei der zentrifugalen Gewinnung eines Milchproduktes wird mit einer Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Vefahrens an einem Ablauf der Zentrifuge (13) einer ablaufenden Flüssigkeitsphase eine Milchprobe entnommen, der Milchprobe ein die Lichtdurchlässigkeit erhöhender Stoff zugesetzt, daraufhin die Lichtdurchlässigkeit der Milchprobe ermittelt und der Fettgehalt bestimmt und dann in Abhängigkeit der Fetthgehaltbestimmung die Einstellung der Zemtrifuge (13) überwacht, gesteuert und/oder geregelt.

The invention relates to a device for separating dense particles from a fluid. The device has a separating structure in the form of a stationary, rotationally symmetrical hollow chamber, into one end of which at least one substantially radial feed duct opens tangentially, and into the other end of which a substantially radial discharge duct opens tangentially, as well as a substantially axial discharge duct. The fluid that is to be processed is introduced into the hollow chamber by means of a nozzle and at a given pressure.

The invention relates to method for in-line fat standardization of a dairy product from a separator. The separator comprises an inlet for a dairy product, a first outlet for a first processed dairy product, a second outlet for a second dairy product. The first processed dairy product has a higher fat concentration than the second processed dairy product. The method comprises the steps of detecting a fat content of said first processed dairy product or said second processed dairy product, and controlling a fat content of said first processed dairy product, using a valve connected to said first outlet, based on said detected density. The device also relates to a device for in-line fat standardization of a dairy product.

The disclosure relates to a method of improving the efficiency of fat separation in the separation of a liquid food product with a certain fat content. The method comprises the method step that the liquid food product is caused to pass through a first separator (1) where the product is divided up into a lighter and a heavier phase. The first separator (1) is regulated so that the lighter phase will have a fat content which is less than 15%. The method also includes the method step that the lighter phase is caused to pass through a second separator (7).

A method for discharge control of a separator comprises an inlet for a dairy product, a first outlet conduit for a first processed dairy product, and a second outlet conduit for a second dairy product. The first processed dairy product having a higher fat concentration than the second processed dairy product. The method involves detecting a flow rate of the first processed dairy product in the first outlet conduit, controlling the flow rate of the first processed dairy product in the first outlet conduit by regulating an opening degree of a regulating valve connected to the first outlet conduit, detecting the opening degree of the regulating valve, and discharging the separator when the opening degree of the regulating valve exceeds a predetermined value. The invention also relates to a separator for separating a dairy product into a first processed dairy product and a second processed dairy product.
