A pump dispenser is arranged for dispensing solidous material under a manually-developed pressure, with the dispenser being capable of pumping and mechanically agitating the solidous material in a storage container. The resultant dispensed solidous fluid is provided with more consistent suspended solid concentrations with greater solid particle distribution homogeneity.

An on-demand fluid dispenser (30) to dispense fluid (63) in response to gas generation by a gas cell (48). The on-demand fluid dispenser (30) includes an expandable gas chamber (51), a fluid chamber (57), and an on-demand gas cell (48). The expandable gas chamber (51) includes a moveable plunger forming a wall of the expandable gas chamber. The moveable plunger also forms a wall (54) of the fluid chamber (57). The on-demand gas cell (48) is configured to generate the gas on demand. The on-demand gas cell (48) is also configured to direct the gas to the expandable gas chamber (51) to expand the expandable gas chamber (51). Expansion of the expandable gas chamber (51) moves the moveable plunger (54) to reduce a volume of the fluid chamber (57) and to dispense an amount of fluid (63) from the fluid chamber (57).
Abstract:
A medicament delivery device for administering a medicament to a user includes a medicament reservoir and an entrance port and an exit port each disposed adjacent the reservoir. A gas chamber disposed adjacent the entrance port. The device includes a pressurizing mechanism operable to pressurize said gas chamber to at least a prescribed pressure. A first frangible membrane extends across the entrance port and separates the reservoir from the gas chamber. A second frangible membrane extends across the exit port. When the pressurizing mechanism is attached, at least one of the first and second membranes is responsive t the prescribed pressure in the gas chamber to burst to allow gas to flow through the entrance port and the reservoir and to carry the medicament through the exit port.

A medicament respiratory delivery device including a housing formed of opposed thermoformed polymeric sheets bonded together having formed therebetween a chamber having a medicament cartridge encapsulated between the sheets, an inlet aligned with a passage through the cartridge having a pierceable closure and an outlet aligned with the passage outlet having a burstable membrane. The device includes a pressure actuator formed as a blister between the sheets and a piercing element having a bow-shaped actuator portion and a shaft which pierces the pierceable closure upon actuation of the pressure actuator, delivering fluid under pressure to the cartridge passage, rupturing the membrane and expressing the medicament.

Zum manuellen Austrag eines Pudermediums weist eine Austragvorrichtung (1) eine Luftpumpe (9) auf, deren Druckluftstrom das Pudermedium über einen Injektor (37) und eine Wirbelkammer (38) aus einer durch einen Medienspeicher (4) von selbst nachfüllbaren Dosiereinrichtung (25) aufnimmt und unter Beschleunigung durch einen Auslaßkanal (21) austrägt. Dadurch ist bei kompakter Ausbildung und leichter Handhabung auf einfache Weise die Erzeugung eines Aerosols für Inhalationszwecke oder dgl. gewährleistet.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual powder spray tool capable of ordinarily spraying a powder through a spray opening without clogging of a pipe passage for an air flow when a powder such as a cosmetic or a medical supply is sprayed, and to provide a small manual powder spray vessel which can be carried and housed with saving space. SOLUTION: In the manual powder spray tool provided with a spray part for spraying, through a spray opening, an air flow manually generated which is mixed with a powder such as a cosmetic or a medical supply, the spray part includes an air pipe flow passage for making an air flow pass through and a suction pipe passage for sucking a powder, the suction pipe passage communicates with the air flow pipe passage and forms a communicating opening, and an inner wall space is formed which possesses a space in the upper part of the inner wall of the air flow pipe passage of the opposed side of the communicating opening.
