Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor blade device for removing the ink of an unnecessary part in the gravure printing, and a printing method using the same.SOLUTION: The doctor blade device contains: a printing cylinder; a pre-wipe that removes a part of the ink applied to the surface of the printing cylinder in a state being isolated from the surface of the printing cylinder; and a blade that removes the ink applied to the surface of the printing cylinder, while having contacted with the surface of the printing cylinder, and can improve the life of the blade remarkably, and work interruption by the replacement of the blade can be minimized. Moreover, a whole life of the printing apparatus can be improved by minimizing the abrasion of the printing cylinder generated by the friction with the blade.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor blade mounting device, which makes it possible even by a beginner to mount a doctor blade to a doctor holder sufficiently accurately in a short period of time without developing undulation in the doctor blade, and a doctor blade mounting method. SOLUTION: In this doctor blade mounting device, a supporting surface 18 equipped with a magnet 23 and the top surface of a lower doctor holder 41 are made flush with each other under the condition that a doctor blade 42 is pushingly moved by a doctor blade adjusting block 21 while the doctor blade 42 being supported by the supporting surface 18. The invention relates to an ink feed device (17) comprising an ink blade (26), a mounting device (61) for the precise mounting of an ink blade (26), a system for feeding and dosing printing ink, said system comprising an ink feed device (17) and a mounting device (61), and to a method for renewing a dosing edge (27, 27') of an ink blade (26), said edge being used to dose the ink. For use with an ink chamber housing of a printing machine, a combination includes a doctor blade adapted to be secured to the ink chamber housing (10) so as to extend outwardly therefrom, the doctor blade including a doctoring plate (16) having a rear portion to be secured to the ink chamber housing and a front doctoring edge in contact with the outer surface of the roll (12) to meter ink thereto, and a chamber doctor blade shield (22) having one end fixed to the doctor blade in spaced relation from the doctoring edge and a second opposite free end unsecured to the doctoring plate, so as to cover the outer surface of the ink chamber housing to prevent ink from depositing thereon when the combined doctor blade and chamber doctor blade shield is clamped to the chamber housing.

The invention concerns a device for adjusting a doctor blade (1) in contact with a print roller (3) along its generator, in which the doctor blade produces a rotating motion about the print roller (3) which is centred about a rotation axis (0) of the latter. This device is characterised in that the doctor blade (1) is mounted on a mobile carriage (17) capable of moving in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the print roller (3) for producing a translational motion along a direction (XX') which is substantially parallel to an axis radial to the print roller (3), and which passes through a point of contact(F) of the doctor blade (1) with the latter.

The invention falls within the sector of rotogravure printing presses and more precisely refers to the printing group (2) which is provided with a device (8) for adjusting a doctor (7) which acts on an impression cylinder (5). The adjusting device (8) is structured so as to be controlled by a processor on which the value of the diameter of the impression cylinder and the value of the working angle of the doctor on the cylinder are preset. The printing group (2) is completely enclosed between walls which create a space inside which nozzles (41, 42, 45 and 46) for washing the entire printing group and, in particular the doctor, are housed.
