Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color coated fouling-resistant conductive cloth and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The method includes steps to form a conductive cloth interwoven by natural or artificial fiber and containing a metal layer, and to form at least one colored resin coating layer on the metal layer of the conductive cloth by means of blade coating. The surface of colored resin coating layer does not exceed intersections of warp yarns and weft yarns of the conductive cloth. The conductive cloth of the present invention is characterized by colored appearance, artificial or environmental contamination resistance, and low surface resistance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
Provided are artificial turf with which a temperature alleviation effect can be sustained over an extended period and which is easily maintained, and an artificial turf facility wherein the artificial turf is laid. A first pile (41), and a second pile (42) which comprises a water absorbent void therein which absorbs water, which configure the artificial turf, are placed mixed among each other in a base fabric (31) at a prescribed proportion.

Abstract:
A method for binding a greige carpet and a secondary backing material using a hot melt adhesive is disclosed. A heated application roll may be provided and the secondary backing material may be contacted with the hot melt adhesive and greige carpet and pressed against the heated application roll.
Abstract:
A textile article such as a floor covering or carpet is disclosed. In one embodiment, a floor covering is provided with a composition applied to the surface of the floor covering. The composition resists staining and dry soiling, and provides liquid repellency and stain release properties. The composition may employ a repellent component, a stain resist component, a stain release, and a particulate component. The composition may be applied to fibrous-containing textiles, such as carpeting. A method of applying the composition to a textile is disclosed. The repellent component may employ a fluorochemical, such as a fluorocarbon. The repellent may be acrylic-based or urethane-based, as two representative examples. The composition is adapted for imparting to a textile a chemical finish that will resist moisture, release stains, and resist dry soiling.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an acarcid-resistant carpet wherein an acaracidal compound is fixed at or near the base of the carpet tufts over which an adhesive layer is applied to the carpet tufts into a primary backing material. The invention further relates to methods of making such carpet.
Abstract:
Polymeric carpet and a method of making and recycling such carpet, the carpet having fibers, backing and extruded adhesive all of completely recyclable materials, the recycling being accomplished in one melting step, without a separation step.
Abstract:
A composite floor covering having an upper layer of a decorative fabric, a dimensionally stabilizing intermediate layer, and an optional lower cushioning layer has at least the upper surface of the decorative fabric coated with a protective polymeric coating in a manner such that the hand of the decorative fabric layer is substantially retained. The materials of the fabric layer, stabilizing layer, and cushioning layer (if provided) as well as the form of attachment therebetween, cooperate to render the floor covering substantially impervious to liquid.
Abstract:
A carpet underlay comprising a fibrous non-woven substrate composed of natural or synthetic fibers having in or on it a repellent finish which makes said substrate substantially impervious to liquids.
Abstract:
A tufted carpet having a backing which has thereon a plurality of first areas of tufts of fine denier fibers and a plurality of second areas of tufts of at least one looped, uncrimped, coarse denier fiber. Preferred patterns for the areas of tufts are alternating stripes or a checkerboard.
