Abstract:
A rope assembly comprises a plurality of ropes encased in a braided sheath, in which each rope is formed of at least two strands. One rope assembly of the invention comprises 18 3- strand laid ropes encased in a sheath of 24 millimetres nominal diameter. This sheath consists of 16 plaits each having 18 yams per plait. Each sheath yam is made of 4.5 lea staple which is spun at a twist of 3.0 turns per inch. Each of the encased ropes forming the core is made of yams which are based on I.C.I. fibres Type 125 continuous filament polyester yam. The rope assembly has an average breaking load of 15.34 tonnes and a flex angle of 60°. The weight of the finished rope at check load is 41.6 kilogrammes per 100 metres. The strands (B) each is composed of reinforcing fibers (B) and has been first-twisted. The strands (B) have been upper-twisted and are disposed around the core strands. The direction of the upper twisting of the strands (B) is the same as the direction of the first twisting of at least one strand (B) selected among the strands (B). The number of first twists of the strands (B) is larger than the number of first twists of that strand (B) and/or the number of upper twists of the strands (B) is larger than the number of upper twists of that strand (B).

본 고안은 1개 이상의 심사로 된 실에 복수개의 스팽글들이 위치 고정되도록 부설하여서, 스팽글이 구비된 직물을 생산하는 데 따른 제작여건을 획기적으로 개선시킬 수 있게 하며, 스팽글이 반영구적인 부착 상태를 유지하게 하여 스팽글이 구비된 직물의 품질을 향상시킬 수 있게 하여 주는 직조용 장식사를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 본 고안의 직조용 장식사는 적어도 1개 이상의 심사(11)로서 고리(A)들이 연속 반복적으로 배열되도록 형성되는 실(10)과, 상기 실(10)의 길이방향 등간격마다 고리(A)들에 꿰어져서 위치 고정되도록 각기 구멍(21)이 형성된 복수개의 스팽글 (20)들로서 구성된 것이다.
