Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing system for mechanical joint of flooring boards on a vertical joint surface, and a flooring board comprising the fixing system.SOLUTION: A main body 30 comprises a fixing system 6 for inclusion into a long side and a fixing system 6' for inclusion into a short side so that rectangular flooring boards 1, 1' are mechanically joined in vertical and horizontal directions. The fixing system to be included is a strip installed at a factory. The fixing system 6 for inclusion into the long side includes an independent element 70 that reinforces a fixing groove 14 and an independent portion that supports a fixing element 8 of the fixing system 6. Each of the independent element 70 and the independent portion is formed from a wood fiber material, which is different from the material for forming the main body of the flooring board.

Abstract: Building panels each comprise an upper first element 31of solid wood fixed to a lower second element 32 of solid wood. The first and the lower second element are of different wood species.
