A variable capacity swash plate compressor includes a cylinder block (1) having a central through hole and at least one cylinder bore (6) formed about the central through hole, a drive shaft (5) rotatably arranged in the central through hole, a rotary member (40) rigidly fitted on the drive shaft (5) for rotation in unison therewith, a swash plate (10, 110) slidably and tiltably fitted on the drive shaft (5), the swash plate (10, 110) having a sliding surface (10 a , 10 c ), a linkage (41) connecting the rotary member (40) and the swash plate (10, 110) such that the swash plate (10, 110) rotates in unison with the rotary member (40) as the rotary member (40) rotates, at least one shoe (50, 150) arranged to perform relative rotation on the sliding surface (10 a , 10 c ) of the swash plate (10, 110) with respect thereto, and at least one piston (7, 107) connected to the swash plate (10, 110) via a corresponding one of the at least one shoe (50, 150), the or each piston (7, 107) being reciprocable within a corresponding one of the at least one cylinder bore (6) as the swash plate (10, 110) rotates. The swash plate (10, 110) has a protruding portion (10 e ) formed thereon, which protruding portion (10e) forms a component part of the linkage (41). The swash plate (10, 110) including the protruding portion (10 e ) is subjected to surface treatment by gas sulphonitriding or electroless nickel-phosphorus-boron plating.
Abstract:
In order to increase the anti-seizing properties of a swash plate which is a sliding component of a swash plate type compressor, a copper alloy is sprayed onto the swash plate and the following texture/composition controls are performed as required: (a) to produce a mixed texture of a dissolved texture into which atomized bronze powder is dissolved during spraying and an atomized texture into which the same bronze powder is not dissolved, (b) to add no or a small amount of Pb to the dissolved texture, (c) to add Sn, P, Al, Ag, Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, Zn, Pb and/or Bi to copper, (d) to add a hard material to a copper alloy, and (e) to form an intermediate layer comprising an Ni alloy or the like between the sprayed layer and a substrate.
Abstract:
In order to enhance the seizure resistance of a swash plate, which is the sliding part of a swash-plate type compressor, copper alloy is flame-sprayed on the swash plate. Depending upon the necessity, the following control of structure/composition: (a) a mixed structure is provided such that atomized bronze powder, which is melted during flame spraying, and an unmelted atomized structure are mixed; (b) Pb is not contained or contained slightly in the melted structure: (c) Sn, P, Al, Ag, Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, Zn, Pb and/or Bi is added to the copper; (d) hard matters are added to copper alloy; and, (e) an intermediate layer of Ni or the like is formed between the flame-sprayed layer and the substrate, is carried out.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stably prevent seizure by forming the flat surface area of a slider into convex surface and forming the chamfered areas each having different inclination angle in two steps on the outer peripheral edge of the flat surface area. CONSTITUTION: The flat surface area 10b of a slider 10 is formed into the convex surface 10c having the height 10μm or less and having an exceedingly large radius of curvature, having the center area of the flat surface area as apex, and the chamfered areas having the inclination angles of 1W45° and 0.5W1.5° for the flat surface area 10b are formed in two steps on the outer peripheral edge of the flat surface area 10b.
