Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Einbringen von Abfallstoffen und/oder alternativen Brennstoffen in eine Klinkerherstellungsanlage, die Vorrichtung umfassend ein rohrförmiges Gehäuse (2) mit einem zur Rohrachse (3) im wesentlichen konzentrisch rotierbar gelagerten und zur Rotation antreibbaren Rotor (4) mit einer Mehrzahl von auf dem Umfang des Rotors (4) angeordneten Schlagelementen (5), schließt an das Gehäuse (2) wenigstens eine Leitung (6) für die Zufuhr der Abfallstoffe und/oder alternativen Brennstoffe und eine Austragsöffnung (7) quer zur Rotationsachse (3) des Rotors (4) an, wobei die Schlagelemente (5) als Reihen (17) von Drähten (16) ausgebildet sind.

A method and s\ stem for sυpplying fuel are provided. The fuel supply system includes a supply of a flow of fuel wherein the fuel includes an amount of moisture in a first predetermined range, a supply of a flow of gas wherein the gas includes an amount of moisture in a second predetermined range and wherein the second predetermined range is less than the first predetermined range. The fuel supply system further includes a vessel configured to receive the flow of fuel and the flow of gas, mix the flow of fuel and the flow of gas, and separate the flow of fuel from the flow of gas wherein moisture is transferred from the flow of fuel to the flow of gas.

A system includes a solid feed pump 10 having a housing, a rotor disposed in the housing, a curved passage 33 disposed between the rotor and the housing, a solid feed inlet 14 coupled to the curved passage, and a solid feed outlet 16 coupled to the curved passage. Also, a solids packing device is coupled to the solid feed inlet of the solid feed pump. The solids packing device includes a first channel configured to receive a solid feed with a first range of sizes, a second channel configured to receive transport assisting particles (TAP) with a second range of sizes. The first range is different from the second range. A third channel is configured to receive and mix the solid feed and the TAP to provide a solid feed-TAP mixture with the TAP filling interspatial spaces between the solid feed. The third channel is coupled to the solid feed inlet.

In an oxyfuel combustion boiler system, nitrogen gas 4 separated by an air separation unit (ASU) 1 is supplied as carrier gas to a pulverizer 5 for drying and pulverization of fuel 6. A fluid mixture 22 of the nitrogen gas 4 from the pulverizer 5 with pulverized fuel 21 is supplied to a powder separation device 24 where the pulverized fuel 21 is separated. The separated pulverized fuel 21 is mixed with the primary recirculated flue gas 16 and supplied to a burner 8.

In an apparatus for introducing waste materials and/or alternative fuels into a clinker production plant, the apparatus comprising a tubular housing (2) with a rotor (4) which can be driven in a rotary manner is mounted such that it can rotate substantially concentrically in relation to the tube axis (3) and has a plurality of beating elements (5) arranged on the circumference of the rotor (4), the housing (2) is adjoined by at least one line (6) for feeding the waste materials and/or alternative fuels and a discharge opening (7) transversely in relation to the axis of rotation (3) of the rotor (4), wherein the beating elements (5) are formed as rows (17) of wires (16).
