Abstract:
The invention relates to a fuse holder (1) comprising two housing elements (4, 5) which, once assembled, together form a tube in which a support (9) for a fuse (10) is accommodated. Each of the two housing elements (4, 5) comprises a contact (3) for establishing an electrical contact with a terminal (10a) of a fuse (10) housed in the support (9), when the support (9) is installed between the assembled housing elements (4, 5). The support (9) may comprise means (16) to ensure the correct position of each contact (3) in its respective housing element (4 or 5). The support (9) may also comprise means (13a) to ensure the correct orientation of the fuse (10) in the support (9). The support (9) may also comprise means (15a) for retaining a seal (11) ensuring sealing between the two housing elements (4, 5).
Abstract:
A fuse end cap for providing an electrical connection between a fuse and an electrical conductor. The fuse end cap may include a mounting cuff defining a first cavity that is adapted to receive a fuse body. The mounting cuff may be configured to be mounted to the fuse body by friction fit, for example. The fuse end cap may further include a terminal defining a second cavity adapted to receive a conductor. The terminal may be configured to be crimped about the conductor to retain the conductor within the second cavity.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire end terminal and its manufacturing method, whereby its cost can be reduced by cutting down the number of components when manufacturing a wire with the wire end terminal, and connection reliability is enhanced since its voltage drop loss is not much. SOLUTION: This wire end terminal is provided with a terminal body part 5 formed by applying a fusing process and a punching process to the core wires 2 of the wire W, and a fuse element part 6 formed on the core wire 2 side of the terminal body 5 by applying a process accompanied by a fusible body.
