Abstract:
A main controller of an image forming apparatus (100) allows a user to select whether to perform backup of an internal storage device to an external storage device (502) when detecting that the external storage device is connected to a USB I/F. If the user selects to perform backup (S8004), the main controller denies access (S8003) to the external storage device from processing other than the backup processing at least during the backup processing, and if the user selects not to perform backup (S8003), the main controller permits access to the external storage device from processing other than the backup processing.
Abstract:
A display system includes: an operation module configured to set a still image display mode; a nonvolatile memory configured to store at least one still image; a signal processor configured to generate an image signal for displaying a preview screen including the still image acquired from the nonvolatile memory during the still image display mode; and a display setting unit configured to add a setting image of display items to be displayed on the preview screen along with the still image and to set the display item based on an input from the operation module during the still image display mode, wherein the signal processor generates an image signal in which the display item is added to the still image in the still image display mode.
Abstract:
A camera system includes a video camera having a first mating mechanism defined on a bottom, planar surface of the video camera. A battery assembly contains an energy cell and a first surface of the battery assembly is releasably engageable with the mounting mechanism such that the battery assembly is suspended beneath the video camera, with the bottom, planar surface of the video camera in substantial contact with the first surface. A support apparatus having a second mating mechanism is also provided, the second mating mechanism releasably engaging a second surface of the battery assembly.
Abstract:
A digital photography system includes a digital camera (300) and a docking digital printer. The digital camera includes an image display (332) and the digital printer (400) includes user interface controls to control the images displayed on the camera and to select images to be printed using a plurality of printer modes, including a first mode which prints only a current image displayed on the image display of the digital camera, and a second printing mode which prints at least two images from the plurality of captured images.

Abstract:
A wireless communications system for transmitting and receiving images and audio information includes a receiver including a display for displaying received images and a speaker for producing audio signals, a processing unit for storing ID code signals for decoding the received images and audio signals and receives an RF signal containing images and audio information. The receiver is responsive to the ID code signal for extracting the received image and audio signals of the images and the audio information from the RF signal. An electronic camera has an image sensor for capturing one or more images of a scene and producing image signals, and receives audio signals to produce audio information signals. A second processing unit is provided for encoding and then superimposing the image and audio signals onto an RF carrier, and transmits the RF carrier and superimposed signals. First and second interconnects respectively included in the receiver and the electronic camera are adapted when interconnected to transfer the ID code signal from the camera to the receiver where it is stored, to thereby permit the electronic camera to communicate with the receiver.
Abstract:
An imaging unit includes an imaging device that transmits an image data to an external display device; and an installation portion that is attachable to and detachable from the display device. The imaging device includes a communication part that transmits an image data to the display device, an outer barrel, and an imaging element. The installation portion includes a slider that is slidable with respect to the outer barrel, a first attached body that is connected to the slider, a second attached body that can change its gap with the first attached body, and a biasing member that biases the first attached body and the second attached body in a direction in which a gap therebetween becomes narrowed, in which the display device is grasped by the first attached body and the second attached body.
