Abstract:
An apparatus and method for scanning a set of film images for a patient. A set of film images is assembled for scanning, and a case divider is provided at the beginning or end of the set of film images to serve as an indicator that differentiates the set of film images from any other film images to be scanned. The case divider is disposed on a separate sheet and bears a pattern that indicates its function as a case divider. The set of films is scanned along with the case divider to obtain scanned image data. The case divider pattern is detected in the scanned image data to identify the case divider.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue notifications to a nurse in accordance with each patient's condition.SOLUTION: A safe nursing system is provided with a control unit and monitors movements of patients on beds. For each patient, the control unit sets a correspondence relation between a plurality of types of prescribed movements and a plurality of warning levels, in accordance with the patient's condition, and computes values of prescribed indices each used in determining a prescribed patient movement (S141-S144); sets prescribed conditions for determining the prescribed movements, and determines the prescribed movements on the basis of the computed values and the set conditions (S152 and 153); and, on condition that it was determined that a prescribed movement has occurred, outputs information indicating that the patient has performed the prescribed movement, at the warning level corresponding to the prescribed movement in the correspondence relation set for the patient (S154).

SOLUTION: A sub-scanning conveying mechanism 52 is provided with curved conveying guides 58a and 58b for guiding an accumulative phosphor sheet IP along the curved conveying passage P and a pair of first and second rollers 60 and 62, which are driven rotatably in synchronous with each other for conveying the accumulative phosphor sheet IP along the curved conveying passage P. The first sensor is secured within the first channel at a first angle with respect to the axis and directed inwardly toward a location. The first cable extends from the first sensor. The second sensor is secured within the second channel at a second angle with respect to the axis and directed inwardly toward the location. The first angle and second angle converge at the location to define a depth of perception. The second cable extends from the second sensor. The first display structure is disposed in proximity to a left aperture of an eyeframe, and the second display structure is disposed in proximity to a right aperture of the eyeframe.

A job control device, a multifunction device, and an operation method thereof are provided. The job control device includes a middleware unit that supports connection with a multifunction device comprising multiple devices having independent functions, and a job control unit that controls performing of a job by at least one device from among the plurality of devices through the middleware unit. A multifunction device includes a multiple devices that have independent functions and a middleware unit that requests a job call to the job control device. A device, from among the plurality of devices, called from the job control device through the middleware unit executes a corresponding function.
Abstract:
A method and device for indicating a scanning condition and a scanning apparatus and scanning system related thereto are provided. The method includes: converting a scanning condition of a scanning apparatus into a control instruction for controlling a light strip to provide an indication; and executing the control instruction to control the light strip to provide the indication in the case of the scanning condition, wherein the light strip is mounted on an exterior of the scanning apparatus. Thus, the scanning condition of a scanning apparatus is converted into a control instruction for controlling the light strip to provide the indication, and the control instruction can be executed to control the light strip on the exterior of the scanning apparatus to indicate the scanning process when the scanning condition of the medical-scanning apparatus occurs.

A medical image and data application service provider system provides a way of remotely viewing and manipulating medical images and data for diagnostic and visualization purposes by users unconstrained by geography. Medical images and data are stored on one or more servers running application service provider software along with meta-data such as access control information, origin of information and references to related data. A set of medical data consisting related information is sent as an encrypted stream to a viewing station running client software in a secure execution environment that is logically independent of the viewing station's operating system.
