Abstract:
In order to accurately perform correction of focal distance and color of film before pre-scanning, the image at the generally center area of the first frame of film is read in a first pre-scan, auto-focusing and judgment between negative/positive is made, exposure parameters are set in a second pre-scanning, and the image is read in main scanning.
Abstract:
Apparatus for automatically inserting 35 mm photographic slides into a slide scanning gate in the scanning station of a film scanner, scanning the slide, and ejecting the slides on completion of scanning. A vertical mount in the film scanner housing receives a rotatable slide tray having customer orders in selected tray slots to present each selected slide into alignment laterally in a horizontal plane with the film scanning gate. A load arm is actuated to load the slide from the tray slot into the scanning gate. The scanning gate accepts slides in mounts of varying size and thickness and centers the slide film image frame in alignment with a film scanning plane in the scanning station. The scanning gate is translated in the scanning station out of the load position for low and high resolution scans and returned to the load position. A return arm is actuated to eject the slide from the scanning gate and back into the same slot in the tray, and the tray is rotated to present the next selected slide into alignment with the load and return arms and the slide scanning gate. The system scans slides of different customer orders in accordance with instructions entered into an electronic control system.
Abstract:
A CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) array sensor film scanner that can execute the preview, scanning and storage functions without connecting with a computer mainly comprises a main body (10) internally set with a frame body (20), and its bottom connected with a base (30) internally set with a backlight mechanism (32). It is characterized in that a PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) module (40) comprising a main board (41), function key board (42) and screen display panel (43) linked together is mounted on top of the frame body (20), a CMOS array image sensor module (44) of an image sensor (441) jointed with an optical camera lens (442) and an image processing and storage module (45) are set on the main board (41). An internal-set power processing device (31) is set in the base (30), and a backlight mechanism (32) is set at the position relative to the optical camera lens (442). And, a colored LCD (liquid crystal display) (11) and a memory card inserting hole (12) are set at the outside of the main body (10). The optical camera lens (442) is utilized to access the film images and focused to form images in the image sensor (441) then the images are transformed into digital data. And, the digitized image processing is proceeded through the image processing and storage module (45). And, the images can be previewed, edited and stored in memory card by the function button of colored LCD display (11) of the main body (10) or transferred to the computer. And, the images stored in the memory card can be inserted in the memory card inserting hole (12) then proceed directly the repeat playing or editing through image process software and scanning the image processing and storage module (45).
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image scanning device capable of easily determining whether a document is a light non-transmissible document. SOLUTION: A document and a CIS 40 are relatively moved by a carriage 41 or an ADF 28. In the relative moving process, the document is irradiated with light from a light source 42 in a time-sharing manner and reflected light from the document is read by the CIS 40. During a non-lighting period in the document scanning operation, the document is scanned for one line in a main scanning direction by the CIS 40 in a state where the light source 42 is turned off. Thus, on the basis of an image signal outputted from the CIS 40, a document type is determined. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
An image scanning device for scanning an image on a document comprises a document table on which a document to be scanned is placed, a scanning unit which is installed in the document table for scanning an image on a document by projecting light from a light source onto the document in a time-sharing manner and detecting reflected light from the document, a moving unit which moves at least one of the document and the scanning unit to let them move relatively with each other, and a document type judgment unit which judges the type of the document in regard to transmission of light through the document based on a non-lighting period image signal which is outputted by the scanning unit by scanning the document for one line in a main scanning direction in a non-lighting period of the light source.
Abstract:
A slide mount supply device supplies plural slide mounts (17, 171). Each of the slide mounts includes a reversal photo film piece (17a) having an image frame. A mount panel (17b) is disposed about and secured to the photo film piece. In the slide mount supply device, a cartridge (14) has a tubular shape, and contains the plural slide mounts stacked vertically. A feeder mechanism (30) with a claw portion feeds a lowest slide mount (171) among the plural slide mounts to an outside of the cartridge. A slide mount separator projection (30c) separates the mount panel of the lowest slide mount from the mount panel of a second lowest slide mount (172) among the plural slide mounts, to ensure feeding of the feeder mechanism.
