PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for machining and holding a polyhedron and a machining method capable of accurately machining the polyhedron having side faces connecting with horizontal upper and lower surfaces respectively via the same predetermined angle in less machining processes without using a dedicated machining apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus is constituted of a piece member 40 having a holding part 41 for detachably holding one side face of a material 20 to be machined and a piece holding member 50 having an attaching and fixing part 51 for detachably attaching and fixing the member 40 and having a horizontal holding part 55 held by the piece member 40 attached and fixed to the part 51 and for horizontally holding so that a face of the material 20 facing upward or downward or both upper and lower faces are to be surfaces K to be finish-machined. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evenly coloring glassware such as glass bottles without adding any new processes, with ease in changing colors, thus enabling a reduction in the cost of manufacturing, and to provide a coating liquid for coloring, and pigmented glassware obtained through the method. SOLUTION: After being formed in the processes of manufacturing glassware, an item of glassware is sprayed with a coloring coating liquid while the item of glassware is kept in a temperature range of 500 to 650°C before being slowly cooled, thus coloring coat is formed on the surface of the item of glassware. The coating liquid is made up of an organic solvent with metallic compound dissolved therein, thereby making it possible to evenly form a colored coat in a short duration of time on the surface of the item of high-temperature glassware. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PET bottle blow molding nozzle without damaging the inner diameter part of a preform, capable of correcting the positional shift of the preform and capable of sufficiently ensuring the flow channel cross-sectional area of blow air or cooling air. SOLUTION: The mouth top surface of the preform P and the outer peripheral surface thereof are brought into contact with the leading end of a blow nozzle main body 10 to elastically attach a cylindrical member 14 which seals blow air and positions the preform P. Since the leading end of the nozzle is not inserted in the mouth part of the preform, the flow channel cross-sectional area of the blow air or cooling air can be sufficiently ensured and the inner diameter part of the preform is not damaged and the positional shift of the preform is also corrected. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a water-repellent performance by rigidly fixing fine projecting and recessing parts formed on the surface of a glass material and to provide a water-repellent glass material which can be relatively easily manufactured and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes a silane coupling agent-applying process for applying the silane coupling agent containing an organosilane on the surface of the glass material, a surface-modifying process for dispersing a modifying substance on the surface of the glass material by blowing flame of a fuel gas containing the modifying substance on the surface of the glass material to which the silane coupling agent is applied and a water-repellent agent applying process for applying the water-repellent agent containing a fluororesin polymer on the surface of the glass material on which the modifying substance is dispersed. The material has the surface whose transmissivity near 350 nm wavelength satisfies ≥75% at 1.2 mm thickness and transmissivity at 360-700 nm wavelength satisfies ≥80% and a contact angle of water drops of distilled water satisfies ≥125°. SOLUTION: The condensing solar power generation apparatus 10 includes a photovoltaic cell 34 and condenser lenses (primary optical systems) 28. A homogenizer 50 (secondary optical system) made from borosilicate glass is formed between the condenser lenses 28 and the photovoltaic cell 34. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method of a polyester container capable of achieving the shortening of a cooling time and the miniaturization of a cooling zone without damaging shape retention at the time of ejection from a molding machine, and the molding machine. SOLUTION: The polyester container is molded by biaxial stretch blow molding and thermally fixed in a blow mold to be ejected from the mold and compressed air is blown against the polyester container 10 immediately after ejected from a cooling pipe 12 to cool the polyester container 10 to retain the shape of the polyester container 10 in a state that strain is left. Cooling is preferably performed so as to rapidly lower the outer surface temperature of the body part of the polyester container 10 by 3-15°C from the ejection temperature from the mold within 0.2-2 s.
