    Abstract: PURPOSE: A hanger type bicycle stand is provided to accelerate the distribution and the use of bicycles by improving the utility of bicycle storing spaces. CONSTITUTION: A hanger type bicycle stand includes a rail(10), a moving block(12), an operating unit, and a lifting unit. The rail is horizontally installed at the ceiling of a building. The moving block moves along the rail. The operating unit moves the moving block. The lifting unit, which is movable to the vertically direction, is installed at the moving block and is selectively fastened with the bicycle. The operating unit includes a driving motor and a belt. The driving motor is arranged at one side of the rail.
