    Abstract: A method of cooling a load provided in a load compartment in a furnace chamber of a furnace of a hot isostatic pressing device includes releasing hot pressure medium from the load compartment. Cool pressure medium is provided for enabling it to fall through the released hot pressure medium outside the load compartment. The thus obtained mixed pressure medium is led into the load compartment. A hot isostatic pressing device includes a load compartment having an aperture near an upper portion thereof configured to vent warm pressure medium into a region surrounding the compartment and a conduit configured to introduce cool pressure medium into the region surrounding the compartment for mixing with the warm medium. The compartment also includes an aperture near a lower portion thereof configured to receive a mix of warm and cool pressure medium from the region surrounding the compartment.

    Abstract: A high-pressure pressing arrangement comprises: two coaxial end closures (6); a high-pressure cylinder having two coaxial end openings, which are closable by the end closures; a frame for resisting outward axial movement of the end closures; a load basket (2) for carrying articles to be treated, wherein the high-pressure cylinder and the frame are arranged transversally movable relative to each other between an operating position and a loading/unloading position; wherein, in the operating position, the end closures are positioned to cover the end apertures and, in the loading/unloading position, at least one of the end closures is positioned to uncover at least one end aperture. Further, a first locking element (21 ) is provided on an end closure and a second locking element (13) is provided on an outward end surface of the load basket, so as to mate with the first element to prevent rotation of the load basket.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a pressure vessel (1) for a high pressure press comprising at least a first sub-cylinder (4) and a second sub-cylinder (6), which are axially connected to form a cylinder body (2) for enclosing a high pressure medium, and a sealing arrangement arranged at the inner wall of the cylinder body for sealing the joint (3) between the first and the second sub-cylinder (4, 6) against leakage of the pressure medium. The sealing arrangement is comprising a ring shaped sealing band (18), a first circumferential protruding flange (30), which is arranged on the inner wall of the first sub-cylinder and which axially extends from the joint (3) and away from the second sub-cylinder (6), and a second circumferential protruding flange (32), which is arranged on the inner wall of the second sub-cylinder (6) and which axially extends from the joint (3) and away from the first sub-cylinder (4). The sealing band (18), in mounted position, is located concentrically within the first and the second protruding flanges (30, 32) such that it in a radially pre-stressed manner abuts against the first and second protruding flanges (30, 32) and sealingly overlaps the joint (3) between the first and the second sub-cylinder (4, 6). The sealing arrangement further comprises a first circumferential mounting space (51), which is arranged in the inner wall of the first sub-cylinder (4) and which axially extends from the first protruding flange (30) and away from the second sub-cylinder (6), for facilitating exchange of components of the sealing arrangement.
