    Abstract: According to the present disclosure, a controller includes a base and a continuous sealing layer connected to the base forming an environmentally sealed compartment between the base and a lower surface of the continuous sealing layer. A circuit board is positioned within the compartment, and a rotary knob encoder is positioned on an upper surface of the continuous sealing layer. Movement of the rotary knob encoder is detectable by the circuit board through the continuous sealing layer.

The end cap, which can be centrally located, has a core that is in liquid communication with a first and second port on the end cap by way of a conduit. The conduit combines the flow of the first pump and the second pump at the core, which then exits the assembly by way of at least one of the ports.

    Abstract: A hydraulic unit includes a driving mechanism whose displacement volume is adjustable to two operational states by means of a position-able adjustment element. The adjustment element can be positioned by a servo piston of a servo unit into a first, initial position and a second, operative position. A first front face and a second front face of the servo piston, which are opposing each other, can be pressurized individually with pressurized hydraulic fluid in order to position the servo piston at either end position of a servo cylinder of the servo unit. The servo piston is of a stepped design thereby forming a ring-shaped damping surface opposing the first front face. In the servo cylinder a ring-shaped shoulder surface is formed opposing the damping surface such that a damping volume is formed in the servo cylinder by the damping surface, the shoulder surface and the servo cylinder.

    Abstract: Method for engaging and disengaging a hydraulic motor which is adjustable in its displacement from and to a hydrostatic drive train of a hydromechanical transmission with a closed hydraulic fluid circuit. Two adjustable hydraulic motors and a hydraulic pump are arranged in parallel in the hydrostatic drive train and connected to a mechanical drive on the output side. At least one of the two hydraulic motors is connected to the mechanical drive via an assigned clutch. As appropriate to the driving situation, during operation of the other hydraulic motor and the hydraulic pump at least one of the hydraulic motors is engaged via the assigned clutch with the hydromechanical transmission from which the hydraulic motor was previously disengaged, likewise as appropriate to the driving situation. Before closing the clutch, the hydraulic motor to be engaged is accelerated load-free by deflecting its adjustment device in such a way that the rotational speed of an assigned clutch input shaft of the clutch is at least equal to the rotational speed of the clutch output shaft of the clutch which is connected to the mechanical gear. When the clutch is closed, both hydraulic motors act on a common output shaft of the mechanical gear.

    Abstract: A speed control system for a hydrostatic transmission includes an engine having a drive shaft connected to a hydraulic pump. At least one hydrostatic motor is connected to the pump in a closed circuit by a flow line. Connected to the motor via a system shaft is a vehicle system. A controller is connected to a plurality of sensors and a high pressure relief valve that is connected to the flow line between the pump and the motor. Based on information received from the sensors, the controller sets the pump and motor displacements to limit the pressure to a value that will not overspeed the engine and allow the system to automatically provide braking beyond the engine's capability. This may be accomplished through the use of various algorithms.

    Abstract: A speed control system for a hydrostatic transmission includes an engine having a drive shaft connected to a hydraulic pump. At least one hydrostatic motor is connected to the pump in a closed circuit by a flow line. Connected to the motor via a system shaft is a vehicle system.
