Abstract:
A filling unit (1) for filling containers (90) of a first type, such as bottles, and for filling containers (95) of a second type, such as cans, with a liquid substance (99). The filling unit (1) comprises a dispenser (3), which in use faces towards a mouth of the container to be filled so as to dispense the liquid substance (99) through a dispensing opening (30) towards an internal volume of the container, and a valve (4) which is controllable for allowing and preventing the liquid substance (99) to be dispensed from the dispenser (3). The filling unit (1) further comprises a level sensor (51) for detecting a filled level of the liquid substance (99) in the container, a volume meter (52) for measuring a volume of the liquid substance (99) fed to the dispenser (3), and a control system for controlling the valve (4). The control system is configured to control the valve (4) based on the filled level detected by the level sensor (51), when the filling unit (1) is used for filling a container (90) of the first type, and is configured to control the valve (4) based on the fed volume that is measured by the volume meter, when the filling unit (1) is used for filling a container (95) of the second type.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a plate (1) for a labelling machine (10) with a carrousel. The plate (1) comprises a disk-shaped support (3) for a container (9) to be labelled. The disk-shaped support (3) is associable with a bottom (92) of the container (9) and is rotatable about an axis of rotation (30). The plate (1) comprises at least three hooking teeth (41, 42, 43, 44) which are arranged on a teeth-holding member (40) in positions spaced along an arc of a circle that is centred on the axis of rotation (30). Each hooking tooth (41, 42, 43, 44) is insertable in a respective recess (961, 962, 963, 964) made in the bottom (92) of the container (9). The teeth-holding member (40) is movable relative to the disk-shaped support (3) along an axial line, whereby the hooking teeth are movable relative to the disk-shaped support (3) between an engaged position, in which they are inserted in the respective recesses of the container (9) thereby hooking the container (9), and a disengaged position, in which the hooking teeth are not associated with the respective recesses. The disk-shaped support (3) is angularly shiftable relative to the teeth-holding member (20), whereby the container (9) supported by the disk-shaped support (3) is angularly shiftable relative to the hooking teeth (41, 42, 43, 44) for positioning the hooking teeth (41, 42, 43, 44) at the respective recesses (961, 962, 963, 964). The hooking teeth (41, 42, 43, 44) are in positions that are angularly spaced from one another and that overall do not have rotary symmetry relative to the axis of rotation (30). In use, with respective recesses (961, 962, 963, 964) of the container (9) that have corresponding angular distances, the hooking teeth (41, 42, 43, 44) are simultaneously insertable in the recesses (961, 962, 963, 964) for only one mutual angular position of the container (9) relative to the hooking teeth (41, 42, 43, 44). This invention also relates to a labelling machine (10) with a carrousel and a container (9).
Abstract:
A device for supporting reels of webs with self-adhesive labels for labelling machines comprising a supporting structure (5) and at least two supports (6) each for supporting a reel of web with self-adhesive labels fixed on one side of it; the supports (6) being rotatably mounted or mountable on the supporting structure (5), one at a first position and one at a second position; the positions of the two supports (6) being invertible, and a support (6) positioned in the second position being movable to the first position, in use, allowing, during the entire movement, unwinding of a web from a reel (14) mounted on it and feeding to a labelling machine.
