Abstract:
To provide a content playback device that can use content appropriately by avoiding output of content not permitted to be used according to contract information. A playback control unit 102 extracts a content name from playback control information in a playback path information table 210, and inquires of a rights management unit 108 whether content identified by the extracted content name is playable or not. If the content is judged as being unplayable, the playback control unit 102 extracts an alternative playback number from the playback control information, and extracts a content name from playback control information whose playback number matches the alternative playback number. The playback control unit 102 then instructs a decryption unit 103 and a playback unit 107 to decrypt and play back encrypted content identified by the extracted content name.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to an information processing apparatus adapted for processing contents provided by contents distribution service. To contents distributed by a contents server (12), a sublicense which prescribes utilization conditions of the respective contents is added. From a license server (13), a main license which prescribes utilization condition of the entirety of contents distributed via channel that user contracts is provided. When it is instructed that contents are reproduced, reproduction of contents is permitted at a receiver (15) in the case where utilization conditions prescribed by the sublicense and the main license are both satisfied.
Abstract:
An optical disk includes an audio data storage area for storing audio data; a still picture data storage area for storing a plurality of pieces of still picture data; and a management area for storing reproduction control information for controlling reproduction of the audio data and the plurality of pieces of still picture data. The reproduction control information has flag information representing specified still picture data among the plurality of pieces of still picture data.
Abstract:
The content distribution system according to the present invention is comprised of: a server device and a terminal device, the server device providing the terminal device with a license for using a content based on transaction processes, each including receiving of a request message, sending of a response message, and receiving of a commit message for finalizing completion of a transaction, and the terminal device controlling use of the content based on the license obtained from the server device, wherein the terminal device includes: a holding unit that holds a 1-bit transaction identification flag indicating whether a current transaction process is in progress or completed; and a sending unit that sends the transaction identification bit instead of an omitted commit message when sending a second or later request message, without sending a commit message in each transaction process except for a last transaction process in successive transaction processes, and the server device includes: a receiving unit that receives the transaction identification flag that is sent together with the second or later request message in the successive transaction processes; and a judgment unit that judges whether or not completion of one transaction should be finalized based on the received transaction identification flag.
Abstract:
In a motor vehicle having a planetary gear mechanism linked to an engine, a first motor, and a drive shaft and having a second motor attached to the drive shaft via a transmission, in a Lo gear position of the transmission, the control procedure of the invention drives the engine intermittently corresponding to a preset engine power demand Pe* (steps S170 and S230). In a Hi gear position of the transmission, the control procedure keeps the engine in load operation (step S330). When a relatively large driving force is required in the Hi gear position of the transmission, the drive control of the invention enables quicker output of the required driving force to the drive shaft, compared with the output of the driving force from the operation stop state of the engine.
Abstract:
An optical disc, as an information recording medium for storing map audio object recorded on the optical disc in a constant bit rate format or a variable bit rate format and a recording position on the disc, can reduce a size of the map information. The map information stored in the optical disc records a playback duration for only first and last units of a plurality of audio object units (AOBU) comprised in an audio object (AOB) for each AOB when audio data in the variable bit rate mode is to be recorded, and records the sizes and playback duration of the AOBU for the last one of AOBUs comprised in AOB and for any one of the AOBUs except for the last AOBU.
Abstract:
The present invention provides: a copolymer for cement admixtures which displays high dispersibility with a small adding amount and excellent dispersibility particularly even in a high water reducing ratio area, a cement admixture utilizing the copolymer, and a cement composition, and further, a production process for the copolymer. The copolymer for cement admixtures comprises: constitutional unit (I) derived from unsaturated polyalkylene glycol ether monomer (a) having an alkenyl group having 5 carbon atoms and an oxyalkylene group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms with an average addition number of moles of the oxyalkylene groups to be in the range of 10 to 300; and constitutional unit (II) derived from unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer (b). The cement admixture includes the copolymer for cement admixtures as an essential component, and may further include a defoaming agent. The cement composition includes the copolymer for cement admixtures, and cement as essential components. The production process for the copolymer comprises: copolymerizing comonomers including unsaturated polyalkylene glycol ether monomer (a) and unsaturated monocarboxylic monomer (b) as essential components by use of a chain-transfer agent, and/or adjusting pH of a resultant reaction mixture to not less than 5 after the copolymerization.
Abstract:
A guide plate (9) for guiding the jig rod (7) extends from a hole (4), formed in a connector (24), toward a distal end of the retaining lance (3). A slanting guide surface (10) for sliding contact with the jig rod (7) is formed on the retaining lance (3). The jig rod (7) is inserted into the hole (4) without shaking. A guide groove (43) for guiding the jig rod (7) is formed in the guide plate (9), and an inner surface (4a) of the hole (4) is disposed flush with a guide surface (13) of the guide groove (43). The guide plate (9) extends to a position near to the retaining lance (3). A retaining projection (16) is formed on the retaining lance (3) in juxtaposed relation to the slanting guide surface (10). A press-contact portion (25) for contact with the slanting guide surface (10) and an abutment step portion (22) for contact with the retaining projection are formed at the jig rod (7). A slanting surface (21) for contact with the slanting guide surface (10) is formed at the press-contact portion (25). A front holder (2) is attached to a front end of a connector housing (1), and the hole (4) and the guide plate (9) are provided at the front holder.
Abstract:
A terminal removal jig, for removing a terminal within a connector housing, having an outer case with a guide groove, a positioning member which has a protruding portion to be engaged with a terminal insertion hole at a front end of the connector housing, an elastic body for urging the positioning member and an unlocking plate secured on the outer case and having an unlocking pin to be mated with a locking lance within the connector housing. The unlocking pin is located behind the protruding portion and is kept in contact with the outer wall of the positioning member. The protruding portion is engaged with the terminal insertion hole and the tip of the unlocking pin faces a terminal removal jig insertion hole opposite to the locking lance. A protruding strip is formed on the outer wall and a front guide hole is formed in the unlocking plate. The inner wall of the front guide hole is successive to the stem of the unlocking pin, a protrusion is formed on the positioning member, and a guide hole is formed in the unlocking plate.
Abstract:
A data processing apparatus is provided with a data obtaining unit which receives a network signal sn on a network N and obtains distributed audio data Dau in which copyright information or the like is embedded, and a control unit which obtains information indicating a watermarking method which has been used when embedding the copyright information or the like in the audio data. The embedded information is extracted by an appropriate watermarking method according to the obtained information indicating the used watermarking method. The extracted information is again embedded in the distributed audio data Dau by using a predetermined watermarking method, and thus obtained audio data is recorded on a recording medium. Therefore, regardless of the watermarking method used for embedding the copyright information or the like in the distributed audio data Dau, the distributed audio data Dau can be appropriately reproduced by reproduction apparatuses as domestic electrical equipment, according to the embedded information.
