To provide high light reflection the coating comprises microspheres.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a solid state binder composition for binding mineral fibers comprising a component (i) in form of one or more carbohydrates; a component (ii) in form of one or more compounds selected from sulfamic acid, derivatives of sulfamic acid or any salt thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a method and an apparatus (12) for measuring the temperature of a fluid stream (11), said apparatus comprising a movable frame (13, 14) having first end facing towards the fluid stream to be measured and an oppositely directed second end; a beam splitter (9) which is movably arranged in the frame for advancement into said fluid stream to open the fluid stream; an optical temperature measurement device (8) for determining the temperature of the fluid stream by measuring the thermal radiation from the fluid stream; and control means for controlling the movement of the frame and the beam splitter and controlling the performance of the optical temperature measurement device.
Abstract:
A metal panel configured to be supported in a suspension ceiling grid is provided comprising a metal sheet with a central planar portion and upturned edges defining a plurality of sides of the panel. The upturned edges comprise a first, generally-upwardly extending portion sharing a common edge with the central planar portion, a second, generally horizontally portion extending inwardly from and sharing a common edge with the first portion, and a third, generally downwardly extending portion sharing a common edge with the second portion, the first, second and third portions of the edges defining downwardly-opening channels. At least one cross brace is provided that extends between at least two sides of the panel, the cross brace having ends configured to be received in the channels. The central planar portion of the panel is secured to the cross brace to limit deflection of the central portion.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns an insulating roof support assembly for a roof structure comprising a plurality roof elongated rafters spaced apart in a predetermined distance with insulation boards therebetween, wherein elongated mineral wool fiber insulation elements are provided on the top of each of the elongated roof rafters and elongated wooden elements on top of said insulation elements with at least one impermeable membrane between at least two neighbouring insulation elements sandwiched between the wooden elements and the insulation elements.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for detecting curing and/or the local distribution of curing of the binder material, in particular for detection of anomalies of the cured binder, in a mineral fibre product. The present invention also relates to a reagent, in particular for use in such a method and the use of this reagent in the quality control of bonded mineral fibre products.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method of manufacture of man-made vitreous fibres (MMVF) comprising: providing a fiberising apparatus, wherein the fiberising apparatus comprises: a set of at least three rotors each mounted for rotation about a different substantially horizontal axis; wherein each rotor has a driving means; rotating the rotors; wherein the first rotor rotates to give an acceleration field of from 25 to 60 km/s2 and the second and third rotors each rotate to give an acceleration field of at least 125 km/s2, providing a mineral melt, wherein the melt has a composition comprising the following, expressed by wt of oxides: SiO2 in an amount of from 33 to 45 wt %, Al2O3 in an amount of from 16 to 24 wt %, an amount of K2O and/or Na2O, an amount of CaO and/or MgO, wherein the ratio of the amount of Al2O3 to the amount of SiO2 is in the range 0.34-0.73, wherein the ratio of the total amount of K2O and Na2O, to the total amount of CaO and MgO, is less than 1; pouring the melt on to the periphery of the first rotor; wherein melt poured on to the periphery of the first rotor in the set is thrown on to the periphery of the subsequent rotors in turn and fibres are thrown off the rotors; and collecting the fibres that are formed. Man-made vitreous fibres (MMVF) can thus be formed having a median length of 100 to 300 μm, a median diameter of not more than 2.5 μm, and wherein the ratio of the median fibre length to median fibre diameter is 25 to 500.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a columns assembly for an insulating wall of a building structure, said column having a side surfaces adapted to receive and retain insulation panels of the insulating wall, said column assembly comprising an inner spacer element made of mineral wool fibres, a central element made of mineral wool fibres, an outer spacer element made of mineral wool fibres, wherein the spacer elements are assembled with first and second intermediate profiles between the spacer elements, and wherein the density of the mineral wool in the central element is higher than the density in the inner and outer spacer elements. The invention also concerns an insulating wall assembly of a building structure with such a column assembly and a method of constructing such insulating wall.
