Abstract:
Methods of operating nonvolatile memory devices may include identifying one or more multi-bit nonvolatile memory cells in a nonvolatile memory device that have undergone unintentional programming from an erased state to an at least partially programmed state. Errors generated during an operation to program a first plurality of multi-bit nonvolatile memory cells may be detected by performing a plurality of reading operations to generate error detection data and then decoding the error detection data to identify specific cells having errors. A programmed first plurality of multi-bit nonvolatile memory cells and a force-bit data vector, which was modified during the program operation, may be read to support error detection. This data, along with data read from a page buffer associated with the first plurality of multi-bit nonvolatile memory cells, may then be decoded to identify which of the first plurality of multi-bit nonvolatile memory cells are unintentionally programmed cells.
Abstract:
A method and a system for displaying information and content in a lock screen system having a plurality of screens so as to provide a screen lock for preventing an unintended input of a user terminal device, and a computer-readable recording medium. The method includes setting information and content on a plurality of lock screen, displaying the plurality of lock screens, providing a screen movement between the plurality of lock screens, executing an existing external application so as to provide detailed information for the information and content displayed on the plurality of lock screens, unlocking the plurality of lock screens, and posting an advertisement on a part of the plurality of lock screens. Users can easily confirm simple information and content and use the as a new medium and means for expressing themselves by setting the lock screen windows according to the personalities of the users.
Abstract:
An image display device includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels and displaying an image; a color converting portion generating a converted image signal regarding red, green and blue colors and an auxiliary primary color from an original image signal regarding red, green and blue colors using one of a plurality of gains corresponding to the plurality of pixels, respectively; and a data signal generating portion generating a data signal from the converted image signal and supplying the data signal to the display panel.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for detecting a position of an object using radio frequency identification (RFID). The method includes calculating a position of a moving object using a first RFID tag installed at a particular position in a predetermined space while the moving object is moving, sensing a second RFID tag included in the object, determining the position of the object as the position calculated at a point of time when the RFID tag included in the object is sensed, and displaying the determined position.
Abstract:
A stacked semiconductor apparatus and method of fabricating same are disclosed. The apparatus includes upper and lower semiconductor devices having a similar pattern of connection elements. When stacked connected the resulting plurality of semiconductor devices includes a serial connection path traversing the stack, and may also include parallel connection paths, back-side mounted large components, and vertical thermal conduits.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a yacht lifting apparatus. To transport a ship being lifted at a quay or a dock on the coast in a safe manner without vibration, the present invention proposes a yacht lifting apparatus which comprises: a main body frame standing upright at both sides of the ship to support a load and having a bottom comprising a wheel; lifting means arranged above the main body frame for enabling the elevation of a band wound onto the ship; and control means for controlling the operation of the yacht lifting apparatus, the yacht lifting apparatus being configured to transport and lift the ship to a predetermined place, said yacht lifting apparatus further comprising: a first cylinder arranged below the main body frame toward the hull of the ship; and hull fixing means for preventing the ship from vibrating by allowing a contact element coupled to the front end of the first cylinder to contact the hull.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a wire and a method for manufacturing the same. The method includes heating a solvent, adding a capping agent to the solvent, and forming a metallic wire by adding a metallic compound to the solvent. The solvent includes a first solvent having a first reduction power and a second solvent having a second reduction power greater than the first reduction power. The capping agent includes a first capping agent containing a polymer having a first molecular weight, and a second capping agent containing a polymer having a second molecular weight greater than the first molecular weight.
Abstract:
An apparatus for scanning a biometric device includes a camera that scans the biometric device to generate images, and a computer that extracts data from the images. The computer measures three-dimensional locations of at least three different positions on a surface of the biometric device, determines a virtual approximation plane or a curved surface with respect to the surface of the biometric device based on the measured three-dimensional locations, determines imaging locations of two or more panels disposed on the biometric device based on the virtual approximation plane or the curved surface, obtains individual images of the two or more panels by scanning the biometric device based on the determined imaging locations, and extracts overall data of the biometric device from the individual images of the two or more panels.
Abstract:
A display panel test apparatus includes: an image pickup part which picks up an image from a target display panel; a jig including a receiving part which receives the target display panel, a fixing part which fixes the image pickup part, and an adjusting part which adjusts an image pickup angle of the image pickup part; a pattern generating part which provides the target display panel with a test pattern; a defect extracting part which analyzes test image data provided from the image pickup part using a defect extracting algorithm and extracts display defect information, where the defect extracting algorithm includes different settings corresponding to different types of display defects; and a control part which generates evaluated data corresponding to a viewing angle of the target display panel using the image pickup angle of the image pickup part and the display defect information.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a canned motor for restraining a cogging torque from being generated by inserting magnetic metal pins into slot openings of a stator, thereby reducing noise and vibrations during an operation of the canned motor. The canned motor includes: a can inserted into a housing to seal a coil mounted within the housing; and a stator installed on an outer peripheral surface of the can and inserted along an inner peripheral surface of the housing. A plurality of fixing guides protrude from an outer peripheral surface of the can and metal pins are inserted into the fixing guides to be integral with the fixing guide, such that the metal pins are inserted into and attached to slot openings of the stator when inserted into the stator.
