According to the disclosed motor, since the motor includes a rotor in which a plurality of core pieces and magnets are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction, magnetic flux of the magnets is prevented from flowing between the core pieces neighbored with each other in the circumferential direction and the leakage of the magnetic flux can be minimized. Since identical polarities of the magnets neighbored with each other in the circumferential direction face each other, the magnetic flux can be concentrated to the respective core pieces. Moreover, since the axial direction of the circumference of the core facing the stator in the circumferential direction is longer than the axial direction of other portions thereof, torque is increased and manufacturing costs are reduced.

This invention provides a disperse system having fine powder-typed inorganic metal oxide dispersed in water and preparing method for the same and more particularly, it provides a method for preparing a disperse system having fine powder-typed inorganic metal oxide dispersed in water characterized in that a) a hydrophobically treated fine powder-typed inorganic metal oxide; b) a sulfosuccinate or sulfosuccinamate or an alkoxylated alcohol dispersant; and c) water are mixed and dispersed by a high-speed bead mill and a disperse system having fine powder-typed inorganic metal oxide dispersed in water prepared by the same.The disperse system having fine powder-typed inorganic metal oxide dispersed in water of the present invention has excellent characteristics in that it has high transparency in the visible ray spectrum, it has excellent UV protection ability when applied to cosmetics, it provides better feelings than oil dispersions, and it has better water-proof property than existing water dispersions.

A driver circuit for driving a display device, and the driver circuit includes a control section, a driving section and a switch. The control section provides an image signal and a first control signal in response to a power signal. The driving section receives the first control signal and the image signal from the control section to output a scan signal or the image signal in response to the first control signal. The switch is coupled to the control section, and provides the control section with the power signal in response to a second control signal so that the power signal is selectively provided to the control section during a predetermined period. Therefore, the power consumption of the display device may be reduced.

A liquid crystal display includes: a plurality of pixels: a data driver including a memory and a register and supplying data signals to the pixels; and a signal controller supplying a control signal for controlling the data driver to the data driver, wherein the register includes a bit storing a data for determining a frequency of the control signal. The data driver operates in synchronization with the frequency of the control signal. The control signal includes a data enable signal.

A microwave oven is provided with an integrated operating unit having an integrated function for power supply, power level control, and inrush current suppression. The integrated operating unit includes a rotary dial, a shaft fixed, at one end thereof, to the rotary dial, a cam mounted about a concentric axis of the shaft to be rotated along with the shaft, and an iron core extending, at one end thereof, from the other end of the shaft away from the shaft beyond the cam. A relay coil is wound around the iron core. The integrated operating unit further includes a power switch attached to a support member extending from the other end of the iron core away from the iron core, an inrush switch for suppressing inrush current, and a power control switch for controlling the power supply time in accordance with a set power level.

An apparatus and method for controlling an output of a magnetron of a microwave oven is provided. The method includes setting an initial input current to generate an output higher than rated output. Thereafter, the magnetron is driven using initial input current of the setting. The output of the magnetron is varied within a preset time to prevent overheating caused by driving of the magnetron.

A tubular element for forming vacuum-packing bags that preserve material in vacuum. The tubular element includes a tube and a plurality of linings. The tube has an inside surface and an outside surface, and is configured as a single unit extending longitudinally. The tube is pressed and compacted into a compact form so that the tubular element can be relatively easily packaged and transported. The tube can be cut into a plurality of tubes of desired lengths, and one end of each of the plurality of tubes can be sealed to form an enclosure so that material to be preserved can be placed in the enclosure. The plurality of linings extends along the inside surface of the tube, and provides channels for evacuating, by suction, of air from the enclosure.

Disclosed is an LCD driver integrated circuit package and a chip on glass type LCD device using the package. The LCD driver integrated circuit package includes a mold that has signal output bumps and signal input bumps formed thereon, wherein the signal output bumps and the signal input bumps have different surface areas that contact the mold and an adjacent conductive film. Due to the different contact surface areas, different amounts of pressure are applied to different parts on the conductive film when a force is applied to the mold. One or more bump pressure control patterns are formed on the mold compensate for the difference in pressure caused by this difference between the total contact areas. Accordingly, the LCD driver integrated circuit package can be mounted on a chip on glass type LCD panel without causing device failure.

A method of controlling a microwave oven, in which the microwave oven includes a cooking chamber for containing food therein, a cooling fan which circulates air, a magnetron which generates microwaves and a humidity sensor which senses humidity of the cooking chamber. Cooking instruction(s) may be preset or set manually by a user. A first cooking operation is performed while preventing water from boiling off/to overflow by controlling an output power of the magnetron according to the set cooking instruction(s). A time required to perform a later cooking is set according to a time required to perform the first cooking operation. A second cooking operation is performed for the later cook time while controlling the output power of the magnetron to reduce the overall cook time of the food.

An apparatus and a method of controlling a microwave oven includes performing a first heating until detection values of a humidity sensor reach a reference value, wherein the humidity sensor senses humidity of water vapor discharged from a cooking chamber. A second heating is performed, lower than the first heating, after the detection values reach the reference value using an output power from a magnetron. A surrounding humidity condition of the microwave oven is determined. The reference value of the first heating is reset so as to cook food appropriately according to the determined humidity condition.
