The first thick-film plating layer supports the semiconductor elements from at least one of an upper direction and a lower direction.

Abstract: A laser light source includes: a resonance unit with a light emitter; and an optical negative feedback unit. The resonance unit includes: a first waveguide; a first reflector to input the reflected light to the first waveguide; a second waveguide; a second reflector connected to the second waveguide; and a ring resonator between the first waveguide and the second waveguide. The light from the first reflector is blocked from the ring resonator and partially transmitted to a first end of the first waveguide opposite to a second end connected to the light emitter and the first reflector. The optical negative feedback unit includes: a third waveguide to which the light transmitted to the first end of the first waveguide is inputted; and a third reflector connected to the third waveguide. The light from the third reflector is inputted to the first waveguide via the third waveguide.

Abstract: A torque limiter 10 includes an input unit 11 connected to a driving device M on input side, and an output unit 12 connected to a robot arm A on output side. The input unit 11 and the output unit 12 include a coupling structure in which the input unit 11 and the output unit 12 approach and recede from each other so as to enable switching of a connecting state where the input unit 11 and the output unit 12 are connected to each other and a non-connecting state where the input unit 11 and the output unit 12 are not connected to each other, through adjustment of magnetic force therebetween. The coupling structure includes an electromagnet 17 that enables adjustment of the magnetic force through adjustment of an application voltage.

Abstract: A redox flow battery system includes a redox flow battery cell, a first circulation mechanism, and a second circulation mechanism. Abstract: Using the cobblestone area (CA) formation inhibitory activity of human leukemic stem cell-like cells as an indicator, a fraction having the activity has been extracted from the fat-soluble fraction of Porifera, then, a compound having the activity has been isolated and purified from the aforementioned fraction, and then, the structure thereof has been determined, so that a Stelliferin compound comprising a novel compound has been identified. Moreover, it has been found that the isolated and purified Stelliferin compound significantly suppresses the niche formation of leukemic stem cell-like cells derived from human chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) having resistance to existing antitumor agents and enhances the effects of antitumor agents on the cells. The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition having inhibitory or suppressive activity against the niche formation of leukemic stem cells, a prophylactic agent against the recurrence of malignant tumor, which involves the combined use of other antitumor drugs, and the like.

Abstract: A secondary battery includes an electrode structure, the electrode structure includes a positive electrode changing in volume by expansion or contraction during discharging or charging, and a negative electrode changing in volume in a reverse way to the positive. The positive electrode and the negative electrode have a volume ratio of 1.1 or more, the volume ratio being a value obtained by dividing the volume under expansion by the volume under contraction, and the positive electrode or the negative electrode has the volume ratio of 1.9 or more, and has a total volume ratio of 1.2 or less, the total value ratio being a value obtained by dividing a larger value by a smaller value with respect to a total volume of the positive electrode and the negative electrode in a discharged state and a total volume of the positive electrode and the negative electrode in a charged state.

When used as electrode active materials, these charge storage materials are capable of providing high-performance batteries possessing a high capacity, high rate characteristics and high cycle characteristics.
