PURPOSE: A composition containing Phlomis Korainensis Nakai extract is provided to suppress tyrosinase activity and melanogenesis. CONSTITUTION: A composition for skin whitening contains 0.0001-10 wt% of Phlomis Korainensis Nakai extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using anhydrous and hydrous low alcohol of C1-4 carbon atoms, acetone, butylene glycol, ethyl acetate, diethyl acetate, diethyl ether, benzene, chloroform, or hexane. The composition for skin whitening suppresses melanogenesis.

PURPOSE: A method for measuring skin types and a method for providing skin care information are provided to determine a skin type by measuring the type of a testee's skin based on the oriental medicine. CONSTITUTION: One or more indexes corresponding to one or more skin types based on the oriental medicine is set up(S1). Information on a testee with respect to each index is quantified(S2). Quantified results are compared with respect to each index. The skin type to which the testee belongs is determined. An average value of each skin type is calculated as a result from the quantified values(S3). The quantified results are compared with one another and the skin type of the testee can be determined(S4).

CONSTITUTION: A skin external composition for anti-inflammation contains medicinal herbs including Taraxacum platycarpum H. Dahlsi, Cimicifuga heracleifolia, Dioscorea opposite, or Angelica tenuissima Nakai extract as an active ingredient. The skin external composition for wound healing and anti-aging contains the medicinal herbs. The medicinal herb extract is obtained using water or organic solvent. The organic solvent is ethanol, methanol, butanol, ether, ethylacetate, or chloroform.

CONSTITUTION: A skin external composition contains 0.0001 - 10 weight% of pine extract as an active ingredient. The composition is a composition for preventing aging and wrinkle. A method for producing the skin external composition containing the pine extract comprises: a step of pulverizing the pine; a step of extracting through cooling or heating with low irritative solvent; and a step of concentrating the extract in a distillation device with a cooling condenser. The low irritative solvent is hydrous or anhydrous low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, acetone, ethylacetate, diethylacetate, benzene, chloroform, or hexane.

PURPOSE: A surface treatment method of organic pigment-containing particles is provided to prevent decoloration and agglomeration of pigment-containing particles. CONSTITUTION: A surface treatment method of organic pigment-containing particles comprises the steps of: uniformly dying hemp powder using organic dye; and absorbing the vaporized coating materials on the surface of the hemp powder. The organic dye is originated from a plant. The coating material is a polymer including -Si(OC2H5)3 group. The coating material is one or more selected from the group consisting of acryl silicone and branched alkyl silicone.
