PURPOSE: A polyethylene glycol-based moisturizing agent containing oxyethylene oxygen is provided to ensure an excellent moisturizing effect and uniform particle size, and to prevent irritation without alcohol and perfume. CONSTITUTION: A moisturizing agent is used for a cosmetic composition. The moisturizing agent contains a polyethylene glycol compound containing oxyethylene oxygen which is bonded with hydrogen from hydroxy group in water. The molecular weight of the polyethylene glycol compound is 200-1100. The polyethylene glycol compound is selected from a group consisting of polyethylene glycol/polypropylene glycol-17/6 copolymer(PEG/PPG-17/6 copolymer), polyethylene glycol/polypropylene glycol/polybutylene glycol-8/5/3 glycerin(PEG/PPG/PBG-8/5/3 glycerin), and glycereth-26. The cosmetic composition contains 5-10 wt% of the moisturizing agent and remaining amount of distilled water. The cosmetic composition is applied by being applied onto the skin a user.

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a water-in-oil type cosmetic composition is provided to easily obtain the cosmetic composition through a non-crushing process using low energy without cooling to room temperature and a mixer. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a water-in-oil type cosmetic composition comprises: a step of stirring an organic modified clay mineral, oil, and an emulsifier at room temperature, and preparing an oily part; a step of dissolving a hydrophilic compound in water or an aqueous ingredient, and stirring at 65-90 deg. C to prepare an aqueous part; and a step of cooling the aqueous part to 60-75 deg. C, and adding the oily part to form microgel. The organic modified clay mineral is prepared by treating water expansion clay mineral with a quarternary cationic surfactant. The organic modified clay mineral is selected from the group consisting of dimethyl ammonium hectorite, benzyldimethyl stearyl ammonium hectorite, and distearyl trimethyl ammoniumchloride-treated magnesium aluminum silicate. The oil is selected from the group consisting of liquid oil, solid oil, wax, hydrocarbon oil, higher fatty acid, high carbon number alochol, synthetic ester oil, and silicon oil. The emulsifier is selected from the group consisting of sorbitan fatty acid ester, glycerin fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, a polyether modified silicon surfactant, and a silicon surfactant. The hydrophilic compound is selected from the group consisting of agar, curdlan, scleroglucan, gelatin, gellan gum, alginic acid, carrageenan, pectin, and hyaluronic acid. The branched chain polymers are acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymers, acrylates/C12-22 alkyl methacrylate copolymer, acrylates/beheneth-25 methacrylate copolymer, acrylates/ceteth-20 methacrylate copolymer, hydroxyethyl acrylate/ sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, or ammonium acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP copolymer. The active ingredients are solid ingredients including surfactant, fat, wax, high carbon number alcohol, higher fatty acid, and hydro carbon; or liquid ingredient including oil, ester, hydrocarbon and silicon.

PURPOSE: A composition containing apple stem cell extract is provided to enhance the stemness of adipose-derived stem cells and to promote regeneration of the stem cells. CONSTITUTION: A composition for enhancing the stemness of adipose-derived stem cells contains apple stem cell extract as an active ingredient. The stem cells are human adipose drived stem cells(hADSCs). The composition enhances the expression level of CD29, CD44, CD73, CD90 or CD105. A composition for beauty or plastic surgery contains 0.0001-10 wt% of the apple stem cell extract as an active ingredient.

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing a gel network using the interaction of ionic polymers is provided to improve thickening effects. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 0.05-1 wt% of ionizable polymers and ionic polymers with ammonium ion in a side chain at a weight ratio of 1-5:1-5. The polymers are a thickening agent. The ionizable polymer includes carbomers, polyacrylate, or poly alkyl acrylate. The ionic polymer with ammonium ion in the side chain includes ammonium acrylate, ammonium acryloyldimethyl taurate/VP copolymer or ammonium acrylamido methyl propane sulfonate.
