Abstract: A sweet spot maintenance method for listening binaural sound in a dual speaker cellular phone and a sweet spot maintenance apparatus using the same are provided to recompose a listening sweet spot by compensating a position of a head. A left or right slope recognition process is performed to recognize a left or right slope of a cellular phone by using an operation recognition sensor(11). A sound filter(14) is updated when the left slope or the right slope is sensed from the cellular phone. Position information of a user head is grasped by using an ultrasonic sensor(12). The sound filter is updated when a position compensation process is required in a user head position information detection process. The stereo sound is outputted through the updated sound filter.
