Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for following up maximum power of a solar cell module and a device thereof are provided to control maximum power follow-up without a current sensor by determining the variation of output power only through an output voltage. CONSTITUTION: A voltage measuring unit(251) measures an input voltage and an output voltage of a power converter. The power converter is connected with a solar cell module. A voltage variation coefficient setting unit(253) sets a voltage variation coefficient by comparing a first output voltage and a second output voltage of the power converter with each other. A reference voltage setting unit(255) sets a reference voltage by comparing a first input voltage and a second input voltage of the power converter with each other. A maximum power voltage determining unit(257) determines a maximum power voltage of the solar cell module by using the voltage variation coefficient and the reference voltage.
