    Abstract: PURPOSE: A protein FGFR2 isomer specifically expressed from cancer cells is provided, thereby effectively diagnosing cancer using an antibody specific to the protein FGFR2 isomer. CONSTITUTION: A protein FGFR2 isomer specifically is expressed from cancer cells and has the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 4 in which exons 7 to 10 are deleted. The protein specifically binds to FGF1, FGF2 or FGF7 and induces the activation of AKT or MAPK. A gene encoding the protein FGFR2 isomer has the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 3. An antibody specifically binding to the protein FGFR2 isomer is provided. A kit for diagnosis of cancer comprises the antibody to the protein FGFR2 isomer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An oligopeptide specifically binding to chitosan is provided. The oligopeptide can be useful for selective separation of biocompatible chitosan and useful as a linker between chitosan and biomolecules. CONSTITUTION: An oligopeptide specifically binding to chitosan is provided, wherein the oligopeptide has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2 or SEQ ID NO: 3. The oligopeptide specifically binding to chitosan is isolated by inserting random amino acid sequences into a vector pFLITRIX containing the active portion of thioredoxin; transforming Escherichia coli with the vector pFLITRIX; culturing the transformed E. coli in an ampicillin containing IMC selection medium; adding tryptophane into the medium and culturing it to induce FLITRIX peptide; binding the transformed E. coli to chitosan fixed on a dish; selecting peptides specifically binding to PLGA; and sequencing the selected peptides.
