Abstract: A DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)/DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) receiver and a method for receiving the DMB/DAB by using the receiver are provided to offer audio/video/data service information through a screen and a speaker of a TV by using a PIP(Picture In Picture) function of the TV. A DAB/DMB receiving module(260) receives DAB/DMB signal through an antenna and outputs audio/video/data service information to a control member(210) of a television system(200). The control member outputs the received audio/video/data service information to output devices corresponding to each data. A PIP control member(220) produces a video screen so that a PIP type screen is displayed by the received audio/video/data service information.
