Abstract: PURPOSE: A forming apparatus is provided to manufacture bulk amorphous Mg alloy even through metallic mold casting having a cooling rate of under tens of K/sec by improving manufacturing ability of amorphous alloy through induction of high-pressure casting/forming in bulking amorphous Mg alloy. CONSTITUTION: A casing(10) of sealing structure is connected to a rotary pump(15) and a diffusion pump(16) for evacuating therein, and has an exhaustion valve(17) for releasing vacuum. A graphite crucible is installed within the casing(10) together with an induction coil(14) for melting a specimen, and has a plunger(13) for pressing melted alloy(M). A Cu mold(12) is coupled to one end of the graphite crucible(11) in a communicating manner, and has cooling holes(12a) communicated with a cooling water pipe(19). The cooling holes(12) are arranged at the outside of a cavity for forming into a certain shape.
