Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition of Pr-Fe-B-based magnetic powders and a fabricating method thereof are provided to enhance a magnetic characteristic by performing an HDDR(Hydrogenation, Disroportionation, Desorption, Recombination) process for fabricating Nd-Fe-B-based powders. CONSTITUTION: A composition of Pr-Fe-B-based magnetic powders includes Pr of 10.6 to 13.0 weight percent, B of 5.5 to 6.5 weight percent, and Fe as the balance. The composition of Pr-Fe-B-based magnetic powders further includes Co of 6 to 35 weight percent. The composition of Pr-Fe-B-based magnetic powders further includes Ga of 0.5 to 1.0 weight percent and Zr of 0.05 to 0.2 weight percent. The composition of Pr-Fe-B-based magnetic powders further includes Dy of 0.1 to 0.5 weight percent.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing a rare earth permanent magnet is provided to enhance the magnetic characteristics of a magnet by grinding the raw material powder of a rare earth permanent magnet with a wet method and then coating the surface of the powder to prevent the surface oxidation of the powder. CONSTITUTION: First, raw material powder is obtained by melting and grinding rare earth permanent magnet alloy with desired composition ratio. Then, mixture slurry is obtained by mixing the alloy powder with organic solvent and then grinding the powder. Next, the surface of the alloy powder is coated by adding at least one of oil and organic to the slurry. Then, dried powder is obtained by drying the mixture slurry. Next, a rare earth permanent magnet is formed by sintering the dried powder.
