Abstract: PURPOSE: A vacuum insulator is provided to improve heat insulation capacity by the formation of a narrow cross section, since the cross section of horizontal beams and vertical beams are narrowly alternated. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum insulator comprises first and second horizontal beams(100,300), and first and second vertical beams(200,400). The first and second horizontal beams and first and second vertical beams are crossed at a fixed angle. The cross sections of the first and second horizontal beams and the first and second vertical beams are changed to become narrow or wide on a cycle of 1/2 of a predetermined gap. The wide cross section of the first vertical beam is attached to the wide cross section of the first horizontal beam. The wide cross section of the second horizontal beam is attached on the wide cross section of the first vertical beam.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A vacuum insulator and a filler for the same are provided to minimize the heat transfer through lattice structures in the vacuum insulator by filling a porous filler in the lattice structures. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum insulator comprises first and second lattice structures(100,200), a porous filler, and first and second plates(300a,300b). The first and second lattice structures are arranged in parallel and comprise upper and lower beams(120,220,110,210) and pillar beams(130,230) vertically connecting the corners of the lattice structures. The porous filler is filled in the spaces formed by the lattice structures. The first and second plates are arranged on the exterior of the first and second lattice structures. The second lattice structure is attached to the upper side of the first lattice structure so that the pillar beams of the second lattice structure are arranged across those of the first lattice structure.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for discharging the heat of a notebook computer is provided to make an electronic circuit installed to the inside of a main body operated stably by effectively discharging the heat generated from the inside of the main body through a display part. CONSTITUTION: The display part(40) includes a heat circulating medium(43) between a screen display part(41) and a rear case. The main body includes a heat sink(34) absorbing the heat by joined to a heat generating element and a heat relay tool(35) forming a heat transfer path between the heat sink and the heat circulation medium. The display part includes a heat transferring fin(42) attached to the outside of the rear case. The heat transferring fin is made of a bidirectional shape memory alloy.
