Abstract: An apparatus and a method for processing a call about a terminal outside of a cell coverage by requesting a call based on peer-to-peer communications are provided to supply a call service to the terminal outside the call coverage by replaying a neighboring terminal to the base station. A broadcast message is not received from a base station for a certain time and recognizes the terminal of the cell coverage outside the terminal(503). When the house request event is generated, help signal is transmitted from the terminal to neighboring terminals in order to request the relay about the call(513). When the response message about help signal is received, the terminal sets up the neighboring terminal transmitting the response message direct(517).
