Abstract:
PURPOSE: A biomass-derived curable compound and a solvent-free curable composition using the same are provided to produce a hardening material with less shrinkage. CONSTITUTION: A biomass-derived curable compound contains biomass-derived furane compounds of 2,5-bishydroxymethylfuran or methylene bis(2-hydroxymethylfuran) and epichlorohydrin. The biomass-derived curable compound is formed by binding of two epoxide functional groups to a furane compound and is denoted by chemical formula III or IV. The biomass-derived curable compound contains sodium hydroxide and phase transfer catalyst(PTC) in a mixture of the furane compounds and epichlorohydrin. The solvent-free curable composition contains the biomass-derived curable compound and a initiator. The inhibitor is cationic curing initiator, photoinitiator, epoxy resin curing agent, or photo cationic polymerization initiator.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a substitute fuel by using algal galactan is provided to easily extract carbon source by using seaweed which is marine biomass resources. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a substitute fuel by using algal galactan is as follows. The algal galactan is extracted from seaweed. Biomass is manufactured through catalytic conversion reaction by using the galactan. The galactan and solid catalyst are add within solvent. The galactan is used through the catalytic conversion reaction.
