The alkyl group(R) in the 2,3-dimethyl-1-alkylimidazolium dihydrogen phosphate(DMRImH2PO4) is butyl or ethyl. The 2,3-dimethyl-1-alkylimidazolium dihydrogen phosphate(DMRImH2PO4) is mixed with PVdF-HFP in a ratio of 7:3.

    Abstract: A sealing structure of a fuel cell is provided to prevent gaskets from being dislocated when a fuel cell is kept airtightly, facilitate the assembly of all components, and be suitable for improving the airtightness of a fuel cell after assembling. A sealing structure of a fuel cell includes a membrane-electrode assembly(104), and separators(106) that adhere to both surfaces of the membrane-electrode assembly to provide channels through which fuel and air flow. The membrane-electrode assembly comprises a polymer membrane(101), a fuel electrode(102) which adheres to one surface of the polymer membrane and is supplied with fuel to cause electrical oxidation, and an air electrode(103) which adheres to the other surface of the polymer membrane and is supplied with air to cause electrical reduction. The separator has grooves formed on an end part of the inner surface thereof. First gaskets(107a) adhere to end parts of both surfaces of the membrane-electrode assembly. A second gasket(107b) adheres to an end part of the inner surface of the separator and is formed of a material having the elastic modulus greater than that of a constitution material of the first gasket. The first gasket and the second gasket are formed opposite to each other. When the membrane-electrode assembly and the separators are fixed to each other, the first gasket and the second gasket are joined to each other.
